Chapter 4: Oliver
Orion seems nice, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say he was cute as hell too. Maybe having him stay in my room was a bad idea. Eh, it's fine, what's done is done. It is getting close to dinner time though, I’ll go check on Mom to see if it’s ready.
“Orion, I’m just gonna go check on dinner, you’ll be okay here right?”
“Yeah, I’m good”
“Okay,”
I walk downstairs because it's quicker than the elevator when it's just one person. I get downstairs to find Ms. Luna, our maid, in the kitchen rather than my mom.
“Hey, Luna”
“Hola, Mr. Moore”
“Where’d Mom go?”
“She’s just outside, go let her know dinner will be ready in five minutes.”
“Yes, ma’am”
“Gracias.”
After I tell my mom about dinner I go back upstairs to get Orion. I should probably lend him some of my clothes since he doesn’t have any. I’ll do that after dinner.
“Hey, Orion”
“Hi, is dinner ready?”
“Yeah, we should head downstairs”
“Okay”
We walk down the hall and I decide to take the elevator again, I know you’re probably thinking I’m just flexing (which I am), but that's not the only reason. Think about it, if Orion had run away from home, he wouldn't have a car, and if he didn't have a car, he walked to school, so I’m really just being considerate of the fact that he’s probably tired of walking.
We get downstairs and I show him to the Dining Hall. We have two dining rooms in the hall. One for normal meals like lunch or dinner and one for large family get-togethers, such as Thanksgiving when our entire extended family comes to our town just to stay at our house. I guide Orion into the small one.
“Hello, Orion,” my mom says.
“Hi Mrs. Moore”
“No, no, you can call me Sue”
“Thank you Sue. Did you make all of this?”
“No, thats all thanks to my lovely helper Ms. Luna”
Luna smiles at Orion and we all sit down to ea
