Chapter 13.

Indifference.

When Natalie read the message she simply said: so this time they are putting you to work for us; It's annoying to be a man and have to clean up a woman's mess. After all, we are family and family is supposed to always support each other.

She said that comment to herself, no one was listening to what she was saying, the only witness was the newborn here, whom she looked at and said: ¿how cute you are, my little Erick?, ¿Isn't your uncle a grouch who complains about everything?

The baby smiled and moved his little hands, so she decided to record a little video while the child was awake... she wouldn't distract her brother by showing him the video because she knew he must be very, very upset, since he was not an easy person to deal with, not because of his social sense, but because he always refused any request that was made to him; for him the word "NO" was not only an art, but it was his favorite word.

For her part, Brianna had opened her brother's message and laughed at the underlying theme. It was well known that Caesar always cleaned up the messes Brianna left behind on a cyber level, but this time they hadn't done it to screw up his life, but they really hadn't thought about the moment, so she sent that same message to her lifelong confidant: The Sinforoso, who immediately responded asking her if she wanted him to join her brother on the mission.

And she told him no, that he shouldn't even think about approaching him at this moment... that she should simply ignore him, because indifference was the best revenge.

On the other side, they answered with an agreement, but the Sinforoso still thought that at least I'm going to support Brianna's brother, but he knew that if she found out that he had disobeyed her orders she would take out his eyes with an ice needle, so he simply did nothing.

The girl  Caesar had proposed to was picking up the broken glass in the hallway and watching as everything seemed tense, the atmosphere was not comfortable and anxiety was the only thing that could be transmitted.

It was not until she heard her boss, Mrs. Bardot, talking on the phone with someone named Vitaly Dot, about her son having agreed to get married after so long… the other party was clearly not a very young woman, but she was not an old lady either, she was someone who was around 37 to 47 years old, which indicated that she could not wait for the dinner they would have in Tarzas next month.

Christianne also sounded very excited for that dinner to arrive, and cleaning every glass completely, the woman left so as not to raise any suspicion that she had heard someone else's conversation.
