The pincered, iron-shelled tick is one of the very few pests that pose an actual danger to ABs, because the large wounds they leave behind after feeding stay open for at least five days, causing significant Eos (blood) loss, leading to fatigue and forced hibernation. Due to their very hard shells, significant force is needed to kill it.
And it is ALWAYS recommended to kill it before it potentially kills you.
