Okay, I’ll admit it – this was originally just the pencil rough, not the final, but I loved the trees in panel A so much… then the other two panels would have been over-finished in comparison if I had redone them… and you know what? this is all perfectly okay, because I make the rules
But i’ll ALSO admit that if I had done that last panel with Flower having the punchline in a thought bubble, and Heart still looking positive and CLUELESS (just like all well-intentioned advice givers), it would have been funnier ack!
