"Are you into boys or girls?"
Aadhira looked into my eyes with a cute smile and hardly tapped my head.
"How do I know? I've never dated anyone—never ever any jerk."
"Hey, that's hurting!"
"Why are you asking me such questions? Do I need experience to be your girlfriend? It feels like you're interviewing me," she said, frustrated.
"Calm down! Stop spitting fire, let's go home. We've spent all this time fighting about dating. It's damn hard to date, just like you."
Aadhira folded her arms. "You mean you! You're not ready to kiss me. Kissing and enjoying dates is so simple."
I raised my voice. "No, it's not! Do you think I'm here just for a kiss?"
"Oh, you're not?" she asked, confused but calm, her temper steady.
"Not!" I yelled.
"So?"
"I need someone I can spend my entire life with."
"Yeah, you said those cliché lines! I thought you were kidding. Come on, make out and be happy! I'm not going to (smirked smile) marry you!"
(I said with bombastic eyes and frustration on my face) "I know that, which is why I don't want to date you."
"Damn! Let's go home. We'll talk later."
We took a taxi and returned home. I went to shower while she prepared dinner for us. In all this fighting, I forgot something very important. Guess what? In my entire life, I never did that. What just happened?
"Aadhira! Aadhira! Aadhira!"
"Yes, Kiara? What's up? Is something special happening?"
"No, I forgot my towel," I said slowly.
"What? ahhh"
I yelled, clicked tough sound "No, I forgot my towel!"
"Ohh."
She knocked after two seconds and said, "Open the door!" I opened a tiny crack. added, "How can this big towel get in? Open wide."
"I can't; I'm nude!"
"So what? We're besties!" (Playing music in the background: Zara Zara Mehkaataa... I blushed.)
"No, no, never!" Aadhira pushed me, and I tried to resist, but she came inside. I was so scared I couldn't even move; my eyes were downcast, embarrassed as we stood so close. My body felt like it was shrinking, the shower still running. The song was still playing. Aadhira looked at me from below, as if admiring every inch of my body. She slowly stepped closer, handing me the towel. I grabbed it quickly and looked into her eyes, my anger reaching new heights.
I grabbed the towel, then chased after her. She laughed as she exited the bathroom. My wet body dripped everywhere, my hair down and messy. Floor is wet and slipped .She fell on top of me, and I tried to steady myself. Slowly, I noticed Aadhira was right above me, just inches from my face... my heartbeat quickening... vroom.. vroom...
