"I'm running late, Nora, for Pete's sake, I'm not going for a party!" Mia cried out in frustration for the umpteenth time. Nora was busy making up her face after dressing her in a beautiful, yet skimpy, blue dress. Mia had complained about the dress before putting it on, but Nora insisted it was perfect. The matching blue heels and Nora's meticulous makeup application only added to Mia's frustration.

"Chillax, baby girl, the interview is at 9 a.m., and this is just 7:50 a.m., so do the math," Nora chuckled, styling Mia's hair in an attractive way.

After what seemed like an eternity, Nora finished her job with Mia and asked her to check herself out in the mirror. Mia rolled her eyes and kept frowning until she saw her reflection. "What the..." Mia trailed off, hardly recognizing herself. Her natural beauty was enhanced by Nora's expertise, making her look stunning, ravishingly beautiful.

She stared at Nora, who stuck out her tongue and chuckled. "You like what you see?" Nora teased.

"You silly thing, come give me a bear hug, baddie!" Mia cried out in excitement as they hugged tightly.

"Good luck, girl! Go get that job at BT company and capture the heart of Bryson, the Greek god," Nora said, chuckling as Mia gave her the middle finger.

"You naughty girl, it's just an interview; I won't be meeting the CEO yet," Mia said, rolling her eyes in exasperation.

"You never can tell," Nora replied, winking at her mischievously.

"Goodness gracious! It's 8:30 a.m.!" Mia exclaimed, giving Nora another hug before dashing out of the house. She hailed a cab, which took her straight to BT company.

Upon arrival, she saw a multitude of applicants already seated. She grabbed a seat and sat down nervously, feeling the weight of their envious glares. Most of the applicants were female, dressed in revealing attire that showcased their cleavages and body parts. Only two applicants were male.

"Are they here to seduce the CEO or what?" Mia thought, recalling Nora's comment about his captivating looks. She glared back at the ladies, who seemed jealous of her natural beauty.

"Applicant number one, Miss Rose Maverick," a voice called out, and a woman jumped up, almost falling due to her high-heeled shoes. The other applicants burst into laughter at her misfortune.

After an hour, Mia was called, and she excelled in the interview. She answered questions correctly and even offered innovative suggestions to help the company. As she was leaving, she saw an applicant adjusting her cloth, revealing her boobs slightly, before running towards the parking lot. Mia was stunned to see the guy she bumped into the other day walking towards the company.

The applicant ran up to him, starting a conversation, but he didn't bat an eye and walked away, leaving the applicant to fall with a loud thud. Mia laughed at the drama, watching as the applicant wiped the dirt away and scurried out of the company in embarrassment.

As she turned to leave, she saw Dylan walking towards her with an angry face. "Dylan! What the hell are you doing here?" she asked, finding the courage to speak up.

Dylan started dragging her out of the company, his expression unyielding and fierce.
