"I don't want you to work at BT company," Dylan said in a whisper-like tone, his voice laced with concern. Mia's response was a chuckle of disbelief. "What nonsense are you talking about?" she asked, her eyes narrowing in confusion.

"I don't want you to work as Bryson's PA," he clarified, his voice firm but trembling slightly.

Mia's expression turned angry. "What the hell do you think you're doing? Who are you to tell me who I work for?" she retorted, her voice rising.

Dylan's face reddened as he yelled back, "I'm your boyfriend, so I have the right to tell you that!"

Mia stared at him, incredulous. "Dylan, you've got to be joking, right? It's either you accept this or you break up with me," she said, not meaning the latter part.

Dylan's response was immediate, his voice filled with desperation. "You've got to be kidding me, right? Mia, I will never break up with you. My love for you will always be like a mountain spring - pure, consistent, and continuous!"

Mia sighed, trying to reason with him. "Then you have to accept this job of mine. I'll make sure I don't get close to him if I'm finally given the job, and I'll let him know that I have a boyfriend. Please stop embarrassing yourself, for Pete's sake! You're being overprotective of me, which I don't like. Look at how you ended up in a cell today, all because of your jealousy."

Dylan's expression softened, his voice filled with remorse. "I'm sorry, I'm okay with what you said. I just can't help it, Mia. There are no words to express how much you mean to me." He hugged her tightly, his arms wrapping around her like a shield.

"He got exactly what he deserved, girl," Nora said, laughing after Mia explained everything that had happened. "You need to see the way those girls were dressed; I almost thought I was in a club."

"I told you, babe, any lady would fight to have Bryson, the Greek god. That guy is so handsome and freakishly wealthy. But don't worry, I know you'll be hired because you're very intelligent, right from college, and they're going to pay you a huge amount of money. So make sure you spoil me with that cash."

"We're going to spend that cash," Mia sang, and they danced happily.

Meanwhile, Dylan removed his shirt, revealing his fine abs. He was feeling hot, even though the AC in his apartment was working perfectly. He had gone online to search for Bryson and found himself staring at the handsome dude. "Even though I'm a guy, I find him attractive, not to talk of Mia. Can I trust her?" he thought, rumpling his hair in frustration.

"What will become of me if Mia is taken away from me?" he thought anxiously, his eyes glistening with tears. He was madly in love with Mia and enchanted by her.

The next day, Nora and Mia were sleeping soundly on the bed when Mia's phone rang, jolting them out of their sleep. Nora had taken a day off from work and stayed with Mia at home.

"Who's disturbing my sleep? I was dreaming of my future husband," Nora groaned.

Mia pinched Nora, urging her to keep quiet as she picked up the call. "Hello."

"Sweetheart, how are you doing?" Dylan's voice cooed from the other end of the line.

"Pretty good, you?" Mia asked.

"I'm okay, just missing you," Dylan replied. Nora rolled her eyes, now fully awake, and stood up, stretching herself.

"You saw me yesterday, Dylan," Mia sighed.

"You're not even romantic," Dylan chuckled, and there was a brief silence before he spoke up again. "Baby, about getting a job at BT company, I..."

Nora grabbed the phone and shouted, "She's not going to change her mind, you psychopath, so get off!" before hanging up.

" What the hell is wrong with you Nora? Stop calling my boyfriend names"Mia groaned and Nora scoffed. " Boyfriend my ass" 

Mia's phone rang again, and Nora hissed, thinking it was Dylan again. "Unknown caller," Mia spoke up before picking it up. "Hello... Is this Miss Mia Miller?"

The voice sounded at the other end of the line, and Mia recognized the voice as the secretary from BT company. "Oh yes, ma'am," she replied, anxiety eating her up. She was sweating profusely as Nora calmed tried calming her.

"I'm pleased to let you know that you are hired. You have to resume work tomorrow, and we don't condone lateness." The call ended.
