Bryson smirked and said, "That's how irresponsible PAs behave. I apologize on her behalf. Let the meeting commence." Mia was so embarrassed as she walked up to Bryson and handed him the files. She straightened her hair and put on her shoe. After what seemed like an eternity, the meeting ended, and they all dispersed. Mia kept silent throughout the day as she worked tirelessly. Bryson kept chuckling as he took glances at her.

After the day's work, Mia hailed a cab and went home. Seeing the gloomy expression on her face, Nora walked up to her and sat beside her, holding her hands softly. "You look stressed. What's up, baby?" she cooed. Mia stared at Nora and pulled her into a tight hug, crying out loudly. Nora sighed, rubbed her back, and said, "It's okay to not be okay, Mia. I will always be here for you, no matter what."

After crying, Mia explained everything to Nora, who went ballistic after hearing this. "What the hell! You mean Bryson did this to you? That son of a bitch! How dare he? I think I need to show him some madness!" she kept shouting. Mia chuckled, saying, "You look ugly when you're angry. It doesn't suit you." Nora rolled her eyes and kept silent.

"Remember, he's still my boss. I guess he was in a bad mood today, so he vented his anger on me," Mia said, but Nora only shouted, "Whatever!" Mia smiled and pulled her into a hug again.

Mason was puffing on his pipe as he sat on his king-sized bed in his room at the mansion. Different thoughts ran through his mind. "That jerk, Bryson, he's gotten another PA. I must see her as soon as possible before things get out of hand. I've done so much to pull that guy down, but he seems tough, going through everything as if it doesn't mean anything to him. I slept with his girlfriend, making their relationship come to an end. I threatened most of his PAs, and yet he kept getting to the top, which Mum keeps blaming me for. I can't tolerate this nonsense anymore. I need to do something," he thought as he grinned to himself.

Mia was going through hell in the hands of Bryson, who kept giving her loads of work to do every day, making Mia exhausted after the day's work. She sat down at her desk and started typing on her laptop. Bryson called her, and she went to him immediately.

"Get yourself ready, Mia. We are going to Australia in two days' time for a business trip. We are going to meet some executives there, which is going to help us promote our business," Bryson said, as Mia stared at him in disbelief. She was stunned to hear this.

"Australia? For how many days, sir?" she stuttered.

"Just a week," Bryson said nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulder.

"But, sir..."

"No buts, Mia. You are my PA, and you follow me anywhere I go. If you don't understand the meaning of PA, go check it out in your dictionary. Now, go back to your desk," Mia was so furious but didn't dare to show the expression on her face. She groaned inwardly as she returned to her desk.

It was already getting dark when Mia finished the last work on her schedule for the day. She stood up and stretched tiredly, turned towards Bryson, and saw him typing on his phone. "I'm done, boss," she muttered.

"Oh, good! I just finished my work too. Can I give you a ride home?" Bryson asked, and Mia stared at him as if he had grown two horns. She couldn't find the right words to say.

"Since you decide to keep mute, staring at me like a dummy, I'm off," Bryson said, starting to walk out of the office.

"No, sir, I'd love it," Mia shouted, running after him.

They both got into the car, and Bryson started the engine and drove off. "Where do you stay?" he asked, and Mia told him happily. There was silence as different thoughts ran through their minds, but they kept mute.

Mia opened the window beside her and inhaled deeply. Suddenly, she fell asleep, and Bryson stared at her in disbelief. A few minutes later, he stopped at her apartment and brought the car to a halt, but Mia was still sleeping peacefully. She was even smiling in her dreams, and Bryson found it amusing.

He couldn't help but stare at her, and it seemed to give him a clearer view of her today. She was so pretty, even when sleeping; her pink lips, which were glossy, seemed too attractive to Bryson, and he was resisting the urge to kiss her passionately. He saw a strand of hair on her face and removed it gently. Her cheeks were soft, and he felt like touching them, but he restrained himself.

"I won't take advantage of her just because she's sleeping. What the hell am I even doing? Sophia really hurt me, and I shouldn't fall in love to avoid that mistake," he thought, looking away from her.

He tapped her gently, and she woke up, yawning and rubbing her eyes. She fluttered her eyelashes as she stared at Bryson. "We're at your apartment; you should get going," Bryson said, avoiding her gaze.

"Oh my god! For how long have I been sleeping? You didn't wake me up, boss; I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. I guess I was really tired to have fallen asleep; it's rare for me," Mia pleaded.

"Whatever! And always cover your mouth when sleeping and stop drooling," Bryson said, smirking inwardly, even though he had just told a lie. Mia was so embarrassed; she covered her face with her palms and bowed slightly.

"I'm sorry, boss," she said, hurrying out of the car, which made Bryson laugh out loud.

Mia was stunned to see Nora standing at the front of the apartment, her hair disheveled as if she had just come from a world war, her blouse torn. "Nora!" she shouted, running to her.

Nora saw Bryson's car speeding away and opened her eyes wide in astonishment. "Oh my gosh! Is that Bryson? Did he bring you home?" Nora screamed, pointing to the car, which had already disappeared into thin air.

"Well, he's not a monster after all; he still has that kind heart in him. He offered to drive me home," Mia said, blushing.

"Aww, that's so sweet. Make it fast, baby, and go on a date with him," Nora said, and Mia rolled her eyes.

"Let's not forget, why are you like this? Did you have a fight with anyone?" she asked, staring at her in disbelief.

"Yes, I did. Your psychopathic ex-boyfriend came here asking for you, and I told him to stay away from you, so we had a fight. He dragged my hair, but trust your girl, Nora never gives up," Nora said, smiling to herself, and Mia was stunned.

"So, what did you do to him?" she asked fearfully, knowing what her crazy friend was capable of doing.

"Is that really important, huh? You seem to still be in love with this guy; I don't want a reunion, girl. Well, I just played with him a little bit; I hit his manhood. With that, he should be at home for some days and let you breathe," Nora said, chuckling as she started going inside.

"You did what????" Mia shouted after her and chased her.
