Nora kept packing and unpacking, running from one room to the other. She had insisted on packing Mia's luggage in preparation for the day's trip to Australia. Mia was dressing up while packing some other items.

"What's causing the delay?" Mia asked Nora, who seemed nervous.

"Just a minute, dear," Nora said and ran into the room again. Mia gasped in surprise. "I hope she doesn't try anything funny," she said, sitting down patiently, waiting for Nora, who had come back inside and was already packing the luggage now.

Then her phone rang, and she cut the call immediately when she saw it was Dylan calling her. "Who was that?" Nora asked.

"Dylan," Mia replied, sighing heavily.

"That devil!" Nora groaned and finally closed the box. "Thank you, Nora. You are my friend in need, and indeed, don't worry, I will buy some new sexy lingerie for you when I come back," Mia said, smiling, but Nora frowned.

"Are you trying to mock me because you know I don't have anyone to show that to?" Nora pouted and rolled her eyes.

"But you have me," Mia said, and they both laughed. "Marry me, then."

"I don't practice lesbianism," Mia scoffed as she took her box and was about to go when Nora held her hand.

"Let me give you a ride to work," she said, smiling.

"Really? Aren't you going to your mall?"

"Of course, I am, but I will be going late, just for you," Nora said and winked at her.

"Or you want to see Bryson?" Mia teased.

"Maybe. Let's go, girl," Nora chuckled, and they both entered the car and drove off to BT Company.

Getting there, Bryson was already outside, waiting impatiently for Mia. He was really anxious and was already thinking she wouldn't show up. He heaved a sigh of relief on sighting her coming out of a car but frowned when he saw her dragging a box. Nora came out of the car and pulled Mia into a tight hug and broke the hug a few minutes later while Bryson stared at them in disbelief, fuming with anger.

Nora saw Bryson glaring at them, and she froze to a spot. She was stunned to see him looking so hot and handsome. This was the first time she would see the Almighty Bryson Tyler in person. She opened her mouth wide, and Mia stared at her, rolling her eyes.

"Hey, girl, a fly is about to crawl into that mouth," she chuckled, and Nora smiled as she walked up to Bryson while Mia followed her.

"Hi, I'm Nora, Mia's best friend. We are sorry for making you wait. We were held up in traffic for a while," Nora said, stretching her hand out to Bryson for a handshake as she squealed in excitement, butterflies in her stomach.

Mia sighed in relief at the excuse Nora gave to cover up for her. "Pleased to meet you, Mia. Get into the car," Bryson said icily as he entered his car, not even giving Nora a handshake. Nora was so disappointed but was glad he even spoke to her.

"He seems cold, but I'm so excited that the Almighty Bryson Tyler spoke to me, something I've been really praying for," Nora whispered to Mia as she jumped up in excitement. She glared at her and waved before joining Bryson in the car. Nora kept blushing as the car drove past her, and she almost fell from excitement.

"Bryson Tyler, even if I can't have you, I'll still want you to date Mia," she thought and entered her car before zooming out of the company.

"I'm sorry for coming late, boss," Mia pleaded, and Bryson glared at her before speaking up. "Just pray we don't miss the flight, and I thought we were just going for a week. What's with the heavy box?" Bryson asked.

"Um... nothing much, boss," Mia replied shyly, and there was silence in the car till they got to the airport. They finally got inside the plane after minutes of waiting. Mia was squealing in excitement as she kept gasping in delight at the beautiful view of the sky. She took pictures of herself and stared at Bryson before asking him.

"Boss, would you like to have a selfie with me?" Bryson was stunned as he scoffed. "Selfie? Whatever!"

Mia smiled and moved closer to him. "Can you please smile? You look like someone who wants to take a passport," Mia pouted, but Bryson didn't budge as he stubbornly kept his cold face, even though he still looked incredibly handsome. Mia took the selfie and couldn't stop blushing, staring at the beautiful picture.

"You look so handsome even though you refused to smile. Take a look, boss," Mia said, giving out her phone to Bryson, who collected it from her reluctantly. He couldn't help but smile at the picture; he really loved it.

"Aww, you look cute when smiling," Mia cooed, and Bryson scoffed, throwing her phone at her. "Ugly! He blurted out, delete the picture ASAP," he added.

Mia laughed out loud and protested. "I know you like the picture; that was why you were smiling. I won't delete it; let me send it to your DM," she said as she sent him the picture. Bryson glared at her and looked away. He saw the notification on his phone and opened it, saw the picture, and was so excited but maintained his cold expression while Mia kept laughing as she scrolled through her phone.

A few hours later, they finally got to Australia, and Mia couldn't keep her excitement as they came out of the plane. She kept jumping up and down like a school kid while Bryson just stared at her as if she was some sort of lunatic.

Getting to the hotel, Mia dragged her box as she followed Bryson, who was walking so fast. She tried to catch up with him, but it was as if he was running. They finally got to the room, and Mia gasped in surprise.

"Boss, are we staying in the same room for a whole week?" She asked shyly.

"Yeah, what the hell are you thinking? That's why I requested an extra bed; I can't afford to stay close to you," Bryson scoffed as he removed his shoe and sat lazily on the bed.

Mia rolled her eyes and opened her box. She wanted to change into her clothes after a shower but was shocked to see the type of clothes in the box. The box was filled with makeup kits, sexy lingerie, short clothes that would definitely expose most of her delicate body parts, and tight-fitting clothes. She opened her eyes wide in shock and shouted.

"Nora!!!"
