WOOD is a fan-made comic created by DarKriallet, based on a "TribeTwelve" web series. The rights to the series belong to its creator, Adam Rosner.
In 2010, Noah Maxwell created a YouTube account called TribeTwelve as part of a project about religion. After the project was cancelled, he remades the remaining channel into a tribute to his cousin, Milo Asher, who committed suicide on May 28th, 2010. Noah uploaded some videos from Milos last visit, but after watching them, he noticed that a strange man was appearing in the clips. Later, this faceless man started to haunt him, destroying his life in the proccess, while Noah translates it all on his channel.
Through creepy messages and threats, Noah realized that his actions have attracted paranormal entities within a "Collective". As it turned out, the main goal of these entities was to obtain a journal, could grant them a great power. Noah was instructed to steal this artifact from his grandfather. Despite Noah's repeated refusals, the collective punished him with all sorts of penalties, such as abductions to another dimension for weeks at a time.
The deaths that followed, broke him, making him incredibly paranoid and isolating him from society.
The only solution is to move, because it can buy time until he can make the next move. What Noah didn't want after moving was to get friendly with Kristin Wood. She wanted to establish contact with him, but after all that he had been through, he understood that he no longer wanted anyone involved in his story of endless death, insomnia, and threats. It was too late, though. A terrifying encounter with a faceless monster in the woods, where Kristin was also involved, didn't allow Noah to ignore what happened between them. This became the starting point for a new branch of disturbing events not only in his life but also hers.
An unknown threatening envelope was left under his door. Kristin needs to know about this.
