Marilou was scared. She didn't know why, but it was the case. That feeling was making her feel weak in the knees, vulnerable. The girl felt observed, since ever she came. Yet that feeling kept on increasing.
Yes, we could as well believe that it was her parents. Yet no, it looked suspicious to her. It seemed like the walls inspected every single inch of her. As she stepped in the corridors to go to the bathroom, she remained silent.
Marilou tiptoed, alert. Her socks cracked on the old wooden floor on the manor. It was troubling. Her throat tightening, the teenager stepped into the bathroom.
Taking a deep breath, she grabbed her toothpaste and her toothbrush. Her heart beating fast as she tried to ignore the feeling of being spied, Marilou brushed her teeth.
Her thoughts wandered everywhere. At the simple thought of seeing her brother with the terror she constantly lived. With the pressure of telling her parents that all those horrors were truly existing.
Sighing deeply, the girl spitted in the sink and strolled to her room, her heart falling down her stomach. She couldn't believe the fact that she had put herself in such a difficult situation. At least, the education would be at home, yet Marilou had difficulty considering this mansion as her new home.
The teenager didn't feel at ease. To make a long story short, she felt worse than just insecure. She simply couldn't describe it.
Marilou slammed the door after her, closing the blinds. She knew that nobody could spy on her while she was changing, yet she wanted to make sure that it couldn't happen.
We never know, the young girl thought as she wore her pajamas, sliding herself under the covers, in the dark.

- Marilou? A voice whispered at the other side of the door, Marilou?
The concerned one grunted and rolled over, burying her face in the pillow.
- Five minutes! She grumbled, ignoring her brother as she kept her eyes closed so she didn't wake up
- Please, Marilou, it's very important! Her older brother insisted, leaning on the doorway
Marilou complained again, stuffing her head even deeper in her pillow. Startled by the noise of a fist banging the door, she decided to stop resisting. Groaning and sighing at the same time, she opened the door reluctantly.
- What? She inquired, scrunching her nose
In front of her, her brother looked incredibly guilty. Under his eyes, black circles betrayed how tired he was. His gaze was less lively and he looked troubled. And his sister didn't remember seeing him holding a teddy bear, and definitely not at fifteen years old. Feeling her own gaze soften, Marilou nodded her head and invited him to enter. His whole body shaking, Isaac agreed and followed her, sitting on the edge of the bed.
- I have to tell you something. He finally declared, hesitant
Marilou nodded her head again, watching her brother in worry. What could he hide?
Isaac bit his lip, avoiding the truth again for about three seconds. His gaze shifted to the window, before meeting his sister's. Take a deep breath, he announced:
- Me too, I saw something paranormal. I believed seeing the shadow of a men in the sky. I know it's weird, but it really traumatized me. I'm sorry that I doubted you, because I now know how it feels.
Marilou didn't comment anything. In the circonstances, she knew she could've laughed or mocking him. Yet she knew how it felt, so she wasn't surprised.
Instead, she smiled at her brother confidently.
