The Muslim culture in our country is that, regardless of your gender, when you marry a Muslim spouse, you are obligated to convert to that religion, so it is quite a big commitment to date and commit to a Muslim spouse. We are not making fun of Muslim culture, but of my hubby's colleague for being so naive as to confuse his role as being the bride (tudung means hijab in our native language) LOL
