"The boy is not going anywhere. You have to go through us first." Said Pine with an alligator hiss and showed her teeth as a form of aggression. 

Emrys was curious about Pine's strange appearance since he had never seen her kind before, but he chucked and didn’t take Pine seriously. 

"Now I will be giving you one last chance to come with me without any difficulties. Mr. Phantom and Mrs. Lizard, your services are no longer needed with this boy. You will be arrested and punished if you continue your interference in an attempt to stop me." Replied Emrys 

Dakota quickly pulled his pistol and shot Emrys in the chest, but Emrys didn't even show that he was affected by the shot.  It seems like he was prepared for that. He wasn’t surprised that they would resist. 

"I see... I have my answer." Smiled Emrys and then quickly charged toward them

" Everyone run!" Yelled Pine 

 They all separated and immediately ran into the deeper part of the forest. 

Emrys ran after Johnny quickly and yanked the bag that he was carrying. Johnny didn't let go of the bag, and he needed to protect all these pages. 

"Just Leave me alone!" Yelled Johnny, keep pulling the bags. 

Emrys didn't answer and continued pulling the bag and Johnny toward him

After they had their little tug of war, the bag ripped, and papers were flying all over the place. Johnny knew he must collect them later, but to seize that opportunity, he continued to run and hide. 

Emrys picked up a piece of paper. Wanting to know why Johnny was protecting those papers. He then recognized some of the symbols. It was written by the Horned King. He picked up a few more and found a picture of him with a crude doodle drawing over it that read "I'm a poodle". Eyes widened. Confused and feeling insulted, he crumbled the paper aggressively and threw it on the ground. He then continued pursuing Johnny. 

Johnny ran as fast as he could, but he immediately tripped on some roots and got up. He yelled for Pine's and Dakota's help, but Emrys was faster and tackled him right away.

"It seems like your little friends left you," said Emrys 

"Not quite!" Said Johnny, grinning at Emrys and showing green slit eyes. 

"Johnny" shape-shifted into Pine. She kicked him in the gut hard, and he coiled up the pain since it was unexpected. She then quickly hit the back of his head with her tail. He immediately face-planted on the dirt.

Pine cackled and disappeared into the woods.

His face and hair were full of dirt. 

He knew that Pine was playing a game with him, and she was the true distraction.  He quickly ran back to the spot where the pages were left, and all the pages were gone. It seemed that Johnny and Dakota went back and collected all of it.

Humiliated and now frustrated, Emrys shouted into the forest. He knew they would be heading toward town for their next escape, so he ran toward his horse and got on its back. The horse immediately threw him into the air and kicked him. It was Pine again. 

Dakota and Johnny ran behind some bushed, grabbed some rope and tied Emrys up around the tree. 

"It seems like I underestimate you, Mrs. Lizard. I must admit, I am very curious what sort of creature you are," Chuckled Emrys 

"Shut up!" Yelled Dakota and punched Emrys in the teeth

Johnny was too terrified of Emrys appearance to say anything.

"Now, what compensation would you be paying for the damage to our property?" Said Pine 

"Compensation? I'm sure you stole that from someone else. You low life, no good crooks." Answered Emrys

Dakota punched Emrys to make him shut up again. 

"Boy, check his pockets." Instructed Dakota 

Emrys locked eyes with Johnny. Johnny didn't want to touch Emrys or even look at him. 

"Boy, do it!" Yelled Dakota 

Johnny carefully went through Emrys pocket, which was easy to reach, and found a silver pocket watch and handed it to Dakota.  Dakota inspected the watch and was pleased. Emrys still stared at Johnny. 

"So, what are we going to do with him?" Asked Johnny 

"We will look through those pages and use a spell on how to lock him in the darkest hole for eternity. We cannot risk attempting to kill him since he might regenerate like his other friends," Said Dakota.

Emrys laughed at such a ridiculous plan

"What seems to be funny?" asked Dakota about punching him again.

“You assume I am working for these repulsive creatures.” Replied Emrys

“Oh? Well who are you working for then?” Asked Pine sarcastically 

“I work for the guy in charge at this place.” Said Emrys

“Well, who is this lord?” Asked Dakota 

“You will soon find out in your future trial. “Chuckled Emrys and immediately burned the rope with fire. 

Everyone was shocked that Emrys also knew magic, and they were about to restrain  him again.

But he has quickly gotten a powder substance out of his pocket and threw it on Pine. Pine was immediately knocked out, and Dakota was about to hit him, but Emrys kicked Dakota first and used it on him as well.

Johnny attempted to use the fire and floating spell on, but it had no effect on Emrys. Emrys smiled and blew the powder at Johnny quickly. Johnny struggled to stay awake, but then he got dizzy, fell to the ground, and saw darkness.
