It was already time for the meeting with Kaji. The girls were enthusiastic, but Kilee was somehow nervous. She put on her smoking and closed her shirt buttons; underneath, she had to wear a unique corset to hide her breasts. It wasn't something she adored, but the tuxedo was perfect a perfect match for her.
"How is it going, girls?" asked Kilee impatiently. In fact, she wanted to see Maria in her new dress.
Helena came out first. "Wow, you are so impatient." exclaimed, giggling.
Her long Black dress with sparkles on the corset was perfect for the occasion. Kilee smiled at her, making Helena frown. "That dress, you still have it!" said Kilee.
"Well, of course, someone gifted it to me for my birthday." She loved that dress, and Kilee gave it to her as a present.
"Maria...?" asked Kilee impatiently, making her cousin giggle. "She will be here in a minute," she said, smiling mischievously.
At that moment, her bedroom door opened, and Maria came out wearing a red dress with sparkling tulle on the bodice. She was so radiant in that dress. Kilee gulped, and her eyes widened, sparkling like a muse ascending. She was shocked to see how beautiful she was in that dress.
"Breathe, cousin," said Helena, giggling while looking at Kilee. She shook her head slowly and ran her hand over her chin, trying to maintain her composure to avoid embarrassing herself. Maria stood there, looking at her boss in her tuxedo. She looked stunning, and Helena did not miss her gaze, scrutinizing her cousin from head to toe.
Kilee stood there, looking directly at Maria, her hand in her pocket. She wore a beautiful watch to display her upper-class status on her wrist with just a glance.
"You're beautiful in this dress!" she said, flustered, her ears turning reddish like Mara's cheeks.
"Alright, shall we go?" Helena was quietly satisfied with the result of her hard work, but she knew it was just the tip of the iceberg. She wanted to see her ship become real and worked hard to make that happen.

"Irina, where are you going, honey?" the old aunt asked, observing her niece getting ready to go outside in a pretty short black dress.
"Oh, aunty, I am going out to meet a friend," she replied. In reality, she was meeting a man who would help her secure a job at a good company.
"Alright, darling, just be careful. " Her aunt was a sweet woman whom everyone respected. She loved her nephews because she couldn't have children herself.
She went straight to IK's party at a luxurious restaurant with a splendid view of the vineyard illuminated by the moon and a few dim lights. Upon her arrival, she noticed Mr. Gill, the manager of B-Corp, the man she had an appointment with through one of her friends.
"Mr. Gill, it's a pleasure to see you," she said, approaching him with a big smile. The man turned toward her, and after seeing a beautiful woman with such curves, his chin started to giggle instantly.
"You must be Irina," he said, laughing and joking.
"Yes, sir," she answered, playing with her hair softly.
He was a well-known playboy with a weakness for alcohol and beautiful women. He was one of those people who arranged deals in most companies, trading information illegally and using those women to do the dirty work for him, but she did not know that.
"Come, sweetheart, let's have a chat," they said, going to talk more intimately in one of the restaurant rooms—rooms for wealthy people who wanted to speak freely without inconvenience.
At that exact moment, after Irina went inside with Mr Gill, another guest appeared: Portia and Ioan arrived as scheduled.
"This is Ik's! It's a restaurant where my good friend works. She let me two passes for the evening," she looked right at Ioan. "Whatever will happen, do not lose your composure," he nodded approvingly.
"Good evening, are you here to meet someone?" asked a waiter.
"We were invited to the party; here are our tickets!" Portia lends the waiter the tickets.
"Of course, this way!" The first hall was for people to meet up, while the party was in another hall. There were also rooms for more specific clients. All these people were upper class, either working or just fooling around, trying to get information from others.
They reached a large saloon with a grand buffet on the right and bar tables where people used to set down their drinks. "Enjoy your time here," said the waiter as he returned to the main hall.
"This place is awesome," Ioan continued, looking at the pillars adorned with crystal lights.
"Right, now, let's take a drink." On the corner was a flashy bar with baristas making cocktails and other drinks.
"Good evening. What do you want me to serve you?" The barista was an exquisite man with a deep voice and bold body. He was very muscular and had his hair tied with a red ribbon.
"A blue martini and a brandy for my friend," she said, knowing exactly what to order to make an impression on that high social circle.
They took their drinks and strayed to a table in the middle, watching a bit around. "Now we have to watch for Director Kaji." He was one of the most significant influences over there, and he was known as a portent talent right after Director K. They planned on targeting Director Kaji to score higher and secure their plan.
---
"Excuse me, may I help you?" a waiter approached them when Kilee turned toward him. "Ah, I'm sorry for not recognizing you, Director K." He nodded before asking, "I have to meet Director Kaji. These are my secretaries." He gave him up the three tickets.
"Of course, this way, the director is waiting for you in the parlor upstairs." They followed the waiter upstairs to a private parlor with a giant balcony reserved for them.
Once in front of the parlor, the waiter knocked at the door and opened it.
"Sir, your guests are here." Director K entered first, and after him, two splendid women appeared. Kaji was speechless.
After discovering that her boyfriend was cheating, Maria was offered a job at B-Corp, the company of her dreams. However, she was surprised to be hired as the secretary for the workaholic director, Kyle. The only hope remains that they will understand each other over time and eventually learn to communicate. Or will there be more?
