Panel 1: Question and Aster*sk Fairies are making plans. Question: “Let’s meet tomorrow at 10!” Aster*sk confirms: “That sounds satisfactory.” … except the handwritten letter C in “satisfactory” looks a little sus.
Panel 2: “lol satis-FART-ORY!!” laughs Question. Aster*sk: “Eek! No! FAC —”
Panel 3: Question giggles: “OOOoooo SATISFU—” Making a giant effort, Aster*k shoots out an asterisked antennae that blocks the profanity. (Which is of course symbolically rendered as @#!! in the footnote.)
Panel 4: Question has merrily zoomed off screen, their dialogue floating behind: “Ok, see you at 10!” Aster*sk footnotes again: “my heart rate!”
The alt punch line for the footnote, such as it is: “how did that escalate so quickly” but I gotta get this post scheduled TODAY, and anyways I still can’t decide
