We are selfish, we get angry, that is humanity.

We wage war, we tear the world apart, we destroy, that is humanity…

But we grow, we rise up from the ashes, we rebuild what has been broken, that is humanity. 

But we create new life, we heal, we survive, that is humanity. 

But we learn to admire, we return what was taken, we feel guilt for our actions, that is humanity. 

But we give back, we let go and smile, that is humanity.

But we declare peace, we put pieces back together, we create, because that too is humanity.

All we are, is neither evil nor good, we simply are…because that is humanity.

All we are is humanity.
