Aaand that's the first part of Issue 3 all wrapped up! Sadly, Padrino and Rey aren't all smiles behind the scenes. I feel like Padrino looks like the obvious bigger person right now lol, but I still find myself siding with Rey. I'm curious, whose side would you take here?

Whoah, the Rudos got saved by... camera crew!? That was a shock.
Anyway, it's hard to not see the (literally) bigger guy as the voice of reason. I don't want Rey the hero live long enough to see himself become a villain... taking away the lives of so many people is bound to weigh on your psyche.
really like what youre doing with their convo here!
Bastardo is an action-packed drama following the journey of Rey Velado, a beloved técnico champion of the pro wrestling promotion, Lucha Armagedón. Rey inherited his role as protector of the técnicos from his mentor, Padrino, and has successfully defended his master’s legacy from the wrath of the rudos for many years. Life couldn’t be any better for Rey, but things take a turn when a mysterious new luchador, El Bastardo, joins the roster.
Bastardo isn’t like any of his fellow fighters; he’s a vicious rudo with a reputation for causing havoc wherever he goes. There’s something… off, about him. Some simply view him as another nuisance in the ring; most believe he is the embodiment of a long-lost evil from the past. Regardless of his true identity, the new rudo is a formidable foe who vows to defeat Rey, take away his title, and destroy the legacy he has worked so hard to uphold.
As their rivalry ramps up, Rey must fight back against Bastardo and quell the rudos for good. Can he protect his wrestling family from the hands of evil, or will he let Bastardo succeed in his pursuit of destruction?
