This comic started life as a True Science lecture about how space is so big that even the FTL in most sci-fi is *still* too slow to get around it properly.
Then I decided drawing E'lin as a space mermaid was more fun.
There are some continuity mistakes you can have fun locating. I thought about redrawing the offending panels but then I decided it was more enjoyable to not draw them again.
