It had been a week since Bobby visited Beth, but that visit had heavily influenced the past seven days. The Braw Agents frequently went to quiet open spaces like fields and courtyards, in order to practise fighting techniques. They usually searched for some fighting techniques online and discovered others in library manuals. No major injuries were caused by the fighting since the Braw Agents knew not to get too violent with each other. Unlike the weapons from the non-credible shop, the weapons Narvy and Oliver made retained their shape and structure after a week of use. By the end of the week, Bobby and the Braw Agents felt confident enough to enter another fight with the Maioura.
Bobby was relaxing in his living room, watching a random cooking show since he had nothing better to do. Or did he? Halfway through, the episode was interrupted by a breaking news report sending a message to the people of Fluvaria. It featured the heading ‘Mysterious threat returns to threaten Halmarn Museum’. As soon as he saw the heading, Bobby understood several things, such as why the stone warriors would attack Halmarn Museum and what to do in this circumstance.
Bobby grabbed his phone and contacted his friends. To his delight, all of them had heard the news and were willing to make an attempt to stop the threat. I saw the news, I’ll come around and help, Hannah messaged back. I’ll come down. I’m nervous but also weirdly excited about this, Narvy replied in his message. Bobby rushed out of his house and made his way to Halmarn Museum. When he got there, he noticed that Narvy and Hannah had already arrived. Edward, Rita, and Elsa arrived soon after Bobby.
As Bobby stood outside the museum, he noticed something odd. “There doesn’t seem to be any havoc taking place,” commented Bobby. In his eyes, Halmarn Museum looked intact and unharmed. But Hannah managed to catch a glimpse of something Bobby failed to spot. “Look over there,” she pointed. A swarm of terrified people were running out of the Halmarn Museum building’s entrance. “Something’s definitely happening in there,” commented Edward as he watched. “Well, what are we waiting for?” asked Bobby “Let’s go in.” Ever since he visited the Trooth Booth, Bobby had questioned the possibility of a Maioura Blade being in Halmarn Museum. After all, Bobby had been to the museum many times in his life – his favourite attractions were the fossil, marine life, and astronomy exhibitions – but not once did he ever see a black dagger with a blue blade on display.
Once the Braw Agents stepped into the foyer of Halmarn Museum, they heard a commotion from above. Which was to be expected. Bobby walked away from the other Braw Agents and approached a nearby employee. “So, where’s the commotion?” asked Bobby. “On the fifth floor,” answered the employee. “An army of stone warriors are trying to steal the Maioura Blade.” At this moment, all the pieces came together for Bobby. He had never seen the Maioura Blade because he never went to the fifth floor. He always stayed on the first and second floors since his favourite exhibitions were on those floors.
The Braw Agents immediately made their way to the fifth floor. To get there, they had to traverse an escalator and several staircases, although it would have been more convenient if all the passages were escalators. Once they got to the fifth floor, the Braw Agents had a lot of things to take in. The room was big and had many vintage items on display such as a typewriter, a vintage snow globe and an old dress on a mannequin. However, those things were the least of their concern. In the middle of the room there was a glass case protecting the Maioura Blade. Surrounding it were Theifblin, Nocturus, Cite, General Slithera and Scorpius.
“Seriously. You again?” groaned Theifblin. “Don’t worry,” explained Scorpius, “they have no chance at stopping us.” “Maybe we do,” replied Bobby smugly. “Yeah. You can thank me for our new and improved weapons,” commented Narvy. General Slithera took a moment to investigate the weapons. “Aw, they’re so cute,” she commented mockingly, “but they won’t help you. You’re probably just as weak as you were when we last saw you.” Rita took this comment as an insult. “We’ll see about that,” she replied, as she ran towards General Slithera.
At that moment, a fight broke out. As the fighting was taking place, Bobby noticed something. He and his friends were actually holding their own against the stone warriors. Although this battle wasn’t going perfectly for the Braw Agents, it was definitely far better than their prior experience. Primarily because they had practised some fighting skills, but also because they were now using efficient weapons. However, attacking the Braw Agents didn’t appear to be the main priority of the stone warriors. Although General Slithera and Cite were taking the time to fight, Theifblin, Scorpius and Nocturus were surrounding the Maioura Blade. They were all trying to break the case open.
“No Theifblin, you’ve already tried slashing it with your blade,” explained Nocturus, as Theifblin drew out his sword. The case had a few scratches and chips on it thanks to Theifblin’s sword. If it was sharper, the case would have been shattered by now. “Is this glass or titanium?” asked Theifblin rhetorically.
Suddenly, Scorpius had an idea. He ordered Theifblin and Nocturus to stand back as he put his idea into action. The sound of a spray bottle erupted across the room. At the same time a dose of venom shot out of Scorpius’s stinger and landed on the case. But it didn’t look like any ordinary venom, it was red and had a distinct glow. Just like the magic that kept him alive. The splat of venom stayed on the case for a few seconds, then it evaporated into the glass. A sizzling sound occurred while this process was taking place. “Did your venom break the case?” asked Nocturus. “No, but I think it made the glass more brittle,” answered Scorpius.
Theifblin was eager to get his hands on the Maioura Blade. “Let’s find out,” announced Theifblin, as he walked towards the case. He drew out his sword and slashed the case without hesitation. Unlike the previous instances when he had done the same thing, a massive hole formed in the case while shards of glass poured onto the floor. Without any further setbacks, Theifblin freed the Maioura Blade from its glass cell. “We shall leave now. We’ve got what we came here for,” called Theifblin to the other stone warriors.
The Braw Agents were so distracted by General Slithera and Cite, that they didn’t notice what Theifblin, Scorpius and Nocturus had been up to. But as soon as they saw the broken empty case, they knew they had to take action. Bobby ran to the staircase that led to the fourth floor. But before he went down, he noticed something through the window. The stone warriors were already walking out of the museum’s entrance, with the Maioura Blade in their possession. It would have been impossible for him or any of the Braw Agents to catch up to them since they were all the way up on the fifth floor.
