After the mission, not much happened during the rest of Bobby’s day, but the night that followed was a different story. While the moon watched over the dark skies of Fluvaria, Bobby lay on his bed, but he wasn’t asleep. The concerns and thoughts over the upcoming day destroyed all of his chances of getting sleep.
At last, the clock finally showed 6 am. Bobby thought this would be a reasonable time to get up and get ready. He quickly threw on his clothes, brushed his teeth, and grabbed his spear. However, there was just one problem. Bobby planned on visiting Oliver and Beth this morning, hoping they could help stop Harold and Pierre, but there was no way either of them would be up at this time of day. For what seemed like three hours, Bobby sat on his bed and waited for an hour to pass, till the clock showed it was 7 am. Bobby quietly opened the door and quickly and silently left the house. The only thing he left behind was a note explaining his whereabouts. It was placed on the kitchen table so his family members would easily notice it.
Once he got outside, Bobby could feel the gentle, cold breeze around him. He ran from his house towards Eanfur Street. It was going to be a longer journey than the one from home to HighQ LowC. As soon as he left the driveway, Bobby already felt warmer, due to the heat generated in his body from running. Bobby spent the next fifty-five minutes walking through the suburbs, city, and grasslands of Fluvaria, all while the sun rose just to watch. Its rays grew more noticeable as Bobby walked further away from his house.
He finally made it to Eanfur Street. He approached the brick house with violets and rang the doorbell. Seconds after, the door opened. “Hello Bobby,” greeted Beth. “Hi, Beth, can I come in?” asked Bobby. She was confused by Bobby’s presence at this time of day, but she was always willing to welcome a friend into her home. “Of course,” replied Beth.
Bobby walked into the house and went into the lounge. He sat down on the couch and waited for Beth to sit next to him. “Why have you come here so early in the morning?” asked Beth. “I came to ask you guys for help,” answered Bobby. Beth was intrigued. “What do you need help with?” she asked. “Remember when I told you about the stone warriors and the Maioura Blade?” replied Bobby. “Well, there used to be three Maioura Blades, but the stone warriors found all of them,” he added. “Then they performed a ritual and morphed them into one ultra-powerful blade. We’ll need all the help we can get today if we want to defeat them.”
Beth agreed to help Bobby with his mission. She turned to Oliver who was sitting at the kitchen table. “Honey, where did you put the staff and whip?” asked Beth. “In the shed,” answered Oliver. “Let me finish my toast and I’ll get them.” As he munched away the last remains of his breakfast, he made eye contact with Bobby. “I’m curious, who’s behind this evil scheme?” asked Oliver. Bobby didn’t exactly know what to say, but he gave Oliver an answer regardless. “These two men,” he replied. “One of them had short, wavy black hair and the other one was an old man,” he added. “Do you know their names?” asked Oliver. “No, I don’t,” answered Bobby. “But I overheard someone say Harold in the castle, so I think one of them is named that.”
Just then a look of sadness grew on Oliver’s face, as if a sensitive subject had been brought up. “Is something wrong?” asked Bobby. “You said one of them was named Harold,” replied Oliver. “Yes?” replied Bobby in confusion. “And you said one of them had short, wavy black hair,” Oliver added. “Well yes, but I don’t know which of them is named Harold,” explained Bobby. “Let me tell you a story,” said Oliver. “When I was an art teacher at Fluvaria College, I taught many students,” he explained, “but a boy named Harold was one of my favourites; he was talented, kind and full of potential,” he added. So far, the story sounded good to Bobby. But due to Oliver’s saddened expression, he knew there was a catch.
“One day, Harold got framed for the murder of Fluvaria’s mayor,” Oliver explained grimly. “He then got arrested and was hated by a lot of people in the city,” he added. Bobby was taken aback. He never thought it was possible for someone’s life to go downhill so quickly, and in such an intense way. “I don’t know what to say,” stated Bobby, with a great deal of empathy. “But are we talking about the same person?” he asked. “I don’t know,” replied Oliver. “The last I heard of Harold were rumours that he died in the ocean during a prison break.”
After hearing this, a question formed in Bobby’s mind. “If he’s dead, then how is he roaming around a castle, while sending stone warriors to attack the city?” he asked. “Like I said, they were rumours,” explained Oliver. “Nobody truly knows if he’s out there or not.” Bobby spoke up to ask yet another question. “If your former student is truly the one behind the whole scheme, what does that mean?” he asked. “I honestly don’t know,” answered Oliver. “If he ends up being the mastermind, I want to know why he did this, and who influenced him,” he explained.
Beth butted into the conversation and asked a favour from Oliver. “Sweetheart, the weapons?” she suggested. “Oh yes, I almost forgot about that,” replied Oliver, as he got up from his seat. Bobby and Beth followed Oliver out to the shed. Once they were inside, Oliver approached a wooden box and took out the weapons. “Now you’ll get to see what it’s like to fight stone warriors,” explained Bobby, as Beth was handed her whip. “Yes. It’s going to be exciting,” she replied. She moved to an empty part of the shed away from Bobby and Oliver. She flicked her whip, which made a loud cracking sound. It made Bobby and Oliver flinch, but that was just a sign of it being effective. “Bobby, has your spear been good?” asked Oliver. “Yes, I’m loving it,” answered Bobby, as he showed it to Oliver. Aside from a few small scratches and dents on the blade, it was perfectly intact. “Clearly it’s sturdy,” commented Oliver. “I know,” replied Bobby.
Bobby took out his phone. He sent a message to the rest of the Braw Agents telling them to meet up near the docks. “Oliver, Beth, do you mind coming to the docks with me?” asked Bobby. “Sure, but why the docks?” asked Beth. “I just thought it would be a good meeting place,” explained Bobby. “The other Braw Agents are going there too.” Oliver looked up at the nearby clock. “It’s eight fifteen now, so we should get there just before nine o’clock,” he replied. “Great,” replied Bobby. “Let’s go.” They left the shed, leaving behind everything but the weapons.
As they walked out of the house, Bobby noticed something. The cold wind from before had vanished. Not only that, but the sky had become brighter due to the sun being higher in the sky. Bobby, Oliver, and Beth walked down the driveway and stepped onto the footpath. They walked down Eanfur Street, distancing themselves further from the brick house each minute.
Eventually, the three of them left the street and entered the city. In order to reach the docks, they had to go through a maze of giant buildings. Once they reached the docks, they saw boats, cranes, and a view of the ocean. However, Narvy, Hannah, Edward, Rita, and Elsa were nowhere to be seen.
20 years ago, a man named Harold was framed for a murder. Now he seeks revenge on his hometown Fluvaria. Upon hearing the news, a teenage boy named Bobby gathers his friends and forms a crime-fighting team. Will it be enough to stop the threat?
