Bobby anxiously looked back at the city and was relieved to see his friends walking towards the docks from different pathways. After a few seconds, everyone had reached the wooden platform. “You guys ready?” asked Bobby. “Definitely,” replied Narvy, as he held on to his crossbow. The main thing that intrigued him was the presence of Oliver and Beth. “I see you’ve managed to get extra help,” he commented. “Yeah, we’re going to need it,” explained Bobby. “I also discovered something interesting,” he added. “What do you mean?” asked Hannah.
“Remember when we were in that castle,” explained Bobby, “we found out that two men were behind the evil plan? I overheard the name Harold, so that must be one of their names.” “So?” commented Hannah. “I talked to Oliver about it this morning, and he told me that he once had a student named Harold,” he added. “How do you know they’re the same person?” Rita asked. “There are lots of people in this world called Harold.” “We don’t,” explained Oliver. “But there are quite a few things that lead to that possibility.” Rita was not buying the theory. “Like what?” she asked with disbelief in her voice. “They both have short, wavy black hair,” explained Bobby.
“When are the stone warriors going to come?” asked Edward. “I don’t know,” answered Bobby. “Let’s just wait here until they arrive.” The Braw Agents fell silent as they stood on the dock. They held their weapons as if they would have to fight at any minute. A few small conversations took place during this wait, but apart from that, all they heard were the songs of seagulls and all they saw was the sparkle of the glimmering blue sea. After twenty minutes of waiting, the Braw Agents grew bored. “Honestly, I don’t think they’re going to come until later,” explained Bobby. “Let’s just wander around the city to pass some time.” The Braw Agents agreed with Bobby. There wasn’t anything happening at the dock, and they needed to feel they were doing something. Hopefully they would have a nice quiet walk around the city.
That is not what they got. While the Braw Agents were near a complex of modern buildings, they witnessed something odd. A giant red light was being blasted onto one of them. It appeared to turn the entire building to stone. When they looked up, they realised what it was. Pierre and Harold stood on a tall building. Harold was holding the Avere Maioure. “Great work,” commented Pierre. “Now turn the rest of this horrible city into stone, including its residents.” Just then, the Braw Agents noticed a giant crowd running towards them. It was an army of stone warriors. Two groups were coming at them from different directions.
At that point, the Braw Agents split up and set out to fight the stone warriors. Harold turned another building into stone, and then another. “How does it feel?” asked Pierre. “It feels great,” replied Harold, not making eye contact with Pierre. The fight was intense. For Bobby, it felt just like the one where the yellow Maioura Blade was stolen. Albeit a lot grander and more evenly matched. He was swarmed with stone warriors, but he was able to fight them off.
Meanwhile, Hannah had gotten herself in a different part of the city, further from the docks. She was going through the same thing as all the other Braw Agents, but there was something else on top of it. Or rather, someone else. “Oh look, it’s you,” snarled Charlina. “Yeah, my friends are here too,” replied Hannah. “How amusing,” commented Charlina. “I bet they’re in a great deal of despair.” Hannah pulled out her hammer. She posed as if she was going to hit something with it. “You’re really going there, aren’t you?” asked Charlina, in a rhetorical manner. She drew her sword and pointed it at Hannah. “Let’s see how you do,” she announced with confidence.
The two of them began a one-on-one fight. The head of the hammer and the blade of the sword continually clashed against each other. “I’ll admit, you’re actually not too bad at this,” confessed Charlina with less confidence than before. “Thanks,” replied Hannah. “Let’s see how you handle THIS,” announced Charlina. She shoved Hannah onto the ground and swung the sword near her. In the nick of time, Hannah grabbed the blade before it could hit her. Charlina stood there and chuckled. “Didn’t your parents ever teach you not to touch stuff that isn’t yours?” asked Charlina. “Yes,” replied Hannah, “but this is different.” She pushed the blade away from her and got up from the ground. The hammer came back to her hands and the fight continued.
Meanwhile, Edward and Rita were surrounded by a group of stone warriors. It was overwhelming, but they tried their best to fight them off. “Rita, behind you!” exclaimed Edward. When Rita looked behind, she realised there was nothing there. But that quickly changed, as a stone warrior came running towards her. She fought it off and thanked Edward for the warning. “I actually told you to look behind as a joke,” he explained. “I figured that out,” replied Rita. “But your prank came into good use.”
From the top of the building, Harold was transforming more buildings into stone. Pierre watched in delight. Many thoughts were rushing through his mind regarding his rule over Fluvaria, and the land he would now own. “I think you should start turning people into stone now,” he suggested. Harold aimed the Avere Maioure down at the citizens of Fluvaria, shooting them with a red misty blast. Then he grabbed out his staff and shot another set of red particles at them. Those people who used to be Fluvarian citizens, were now stone warriors. More people would have been turned into stone, if it wasn’t for the fact that it was difficult to transform people from this height. “We should probably go down,” suggested Harold. “I agree,” replied Pierre. Two clouds of purple mist surrounded Pierre’s hands. With the power of his dark magic, both of them left the building’s rooftop. They teleported to the docks, where the Braw Agents once stood.
Bobby was now surrounded by stone. Both in terms of buildings and stone warriors. He was using all of his energy to fight off the stone warriors, just like the other Braw Agents. He ran out of the giant crowd and continued to fight for his life. While running, he encountered someone. Unlike Hannah, Bobby had run into someone who was actually worth his time. “Hi, Bobby,” said Oliver. “Hi. Has everything been going well for you?” asked Bobby. “Yes, but I’ve had to deal with a lot of stone warriors,” explained Oliver. “All of us have,” replied Bobby. They were in a convenient part of the city because they could see the docks ahead with little to obstruct their view. There appeared to be two people at the docks. One man who stood there with his hands behind his back, and another who was holding a distinctly shaped gauntlet. “Should we investigate them?” asked Bobby. “I think we should,” answered Oliver.
Without any hesitation, the two of them walked down the footpath. The light in the sky and the sound of the ocean grew closer with each step. In a matter of minutes, they reached the docks. When they got there, the sight couldn’t be more shocking.
20 years ago, a man named Harold was framed for a murder. Now he seeks revenge on his hometown Fluvaria. Upon hearing the news, a teenage boy named Bobby gathers his friends and forms a crime-fighting team. Will it be enough to stop the threat?
