Over in the alleyway Narvy, Hannah, Edward and Rita were all feeling good about their new victory. They had planned on leaving Bytari as soon as they got out of the tunnel, but they couldn’t since they had to wait for Bobby and Elsa to come back. Within a couple of minutes, they saw someone running towards them. They only knew one person who wore an orange scarf. “Hi guys, how did it go down there?” asked Bobby once he arrived at his friends. “Pretty good. I don’t know how it happened, but the beetle droids randomly malfunctioned soon after you left,” explained Hannah. “They shouldn’t be a problem any more,” she added. “That’s good. Did you do what you wanted on that computer?” Bobby asked Narvy. “I tried, but the beetle droids kept getting in the way and I couldn’t teach myself internet banking,” answered Narvy. “I imagine it must have been tricky. Let’s leave it to the professionals,” replied Bobby. “That’s what I was thinking,” replied Narvy.
Just then another person ran towards the group. It turned out to be Elsa. “Where were you?” asked Narvy. “Julia took me to the top of Nimbus Tower,” answered Elsa. “We were fighting on the roof, and she even tried pushing me off at one point,” she added. “I’m sorry, WHAT?” exclaimed Rita. “It’s true. She wanted to have some time just between the two of us,” explained Elsa. “What does that mean? And why did she take you to Nimbus Tower of all places?” asked Rita. “I don’t know about Nimbus Tower, but I think Julia wanted to talk to me because I’m her niece and she still thought she could turn me to her side,” suggested Elsa. “That’s just what I think. I could be wrong,” she added. “Where is she now?” asked Bobby.
Before anyone could answer his question, something unexpected occurred. Julia walked down the street and approached the Braw Agents. Upon seeing them out of the manhole, she assumed they had successfully defeated her. She removed her mask and pulled down her hood before speaking. “Forgive me, please,” said Julia, with fake remorse in her voice. The Braw Agents just stared at her. “That’s not going to work on us,” explained Bobby. At that moment she turned to Elsa, hoping she could manipulate her. “Elsa, if not them, how about you?” she asked in the same tone. “I didn’t mean any of the things I said or did on Nimbus Tower. I know you’ve defeated me and that we now have our differences, but can we please still be friends? Remember all the good times we’ve had,” she added.
Throughout the entire speech, Elsa rolled her eyes and remained silent. Julia had a lot more to say, but the sound of a wailing siren interrupted her. It came from a white car that flickered beams of red and blue light in opposite directions. Once it was parked, two people dressed in blue uniforms walked out of it. “You didn’t call the police on your own aunt?” scowled Julia with fear and anger in her voice. “I wish I did, but that’s not what happened. Bobby reported you,” explained Elsa. “So you’re the one who’s been stealing all of those files,” said one of the police officers. “Yeah, what about it?” asked Julia trying to seem confident. Shortly after, she received a new pair of silver bracelets with a chain that prevented her from moving her arms.
“You are under arrest for every theft crime you’ve committed over the past three months,” announced the same officer. “Is that the Cyber Blade?” asked the other officer upon noticing it. “Oh, yeah. How did that get here?” asked Julia. “You were behind the Department of Valuable Artefacts incident too,” stated the officer. “You blew up an entire section of that building, caused many dangerous artefacts to go missing, and stole one of them,” he added. “Technically I didn’t do all of that, my beetle droids did,” stated Julia. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, but you’ve given us a reason to extend your prison sentence,” replied the officer. “There were a bunch of small beetle-like robots in that manhole,” interrupted Elsa. “She used them for all of her schemes and sent them to fight us,” she added. “We’ll look into them another day, but now, you’re going in the car,” announced the officer.
Julia walked to the car and got inside, followed by the two officers. Before the driver could put the key in the ignition, Julia spoke up. “WAIT,” she shouted. “Can I say something to my niece really quickly?” she requested. “Please?” she added. With hesitance, they delayed their departure and lowered Julia’s window. From there, she gestured to Elsa for her to come over. Elsa reluctantly walked to her aunt to hear what she had to say. “I hope you’re happy,” scoffed Julia. “You may think you’ve made the right decision today, but in a couple of years, you’re going to look back on this and regret everything you did,” she snarled. Once she was done talking, her window slid up and the car drove off.
Elsa stood there as she watched the vehicle go towards the horizon. She couldn’t help but feel sad about the incident. Her facial expression and body language made that obvious to Bobby. “It’s okay, you don’t need her,” he stated in an effort to comfort Elsa. “I know, but we did so much together,” replied Elsa. “She always sent Christmas gifts to my mother, and she taught me how to use a hair straightener and she took me on many amazing trips around Bytari,” she explained. “I’m sure it’s hard for you to come to terms with this, but if I were you, I’d cherish the good times regardless of what happened,” explained Bobby. “I’m going to need some time to reflect on everything, but thanks for the advice,” replied Elsa.
Just then, Narvy remembered something. “Elsa, do you have the telecoin?” he asked. “Yes I do,” replied Elsa. Narvy was relieved to hear that. “Do you guys want to go back to Fluvaria, or would you like to stay here for a little bit longer?” he asked. None of the Braw Agents had anything left to do in Bytari, so they all went with Narvy’s first suggestion. “Shouldn’t we lock the manhole?” asked Edward. “That’s a good idea,” replied Narvy. Without wasting any time, Narvy went to the manhole and locked it. After that, he pressed the button on the telecoin, becoming a luminous figure in the alleyway. Shortly after, the same thing happened to his friends, with everyone connected with beams of light. While the process was taking place, Narvy spoke up. “I wonder what those other artefacts were,” he asked. “Don’t worry about it, the police will be onto it,” replied Bobby. Two seconds later, everyone disappeared.
Meanwhile, in another place on Earth, the climate was frigid. Grassy plains were completely hidden under thick layers of snow. The forests were full of many trees but not a single leaf could be seen, and if the river was one degree colder it would be frozen. Since that was not the case, a mysterious object was able to glide through the water. It was a black staff, with a detailed handle and a blue gem on top. After being pushed around by the water for some time, it washed up on the snowy river bank. It was so cold the riverbed was almost deserted, except for one person. He noticed the staff near the river and approached it. He picked it up and dusted the snow off, investigating it with great intrigue, and decided to take it home.
After defeating the stone warriors, the Braw Agents have been invited to the prestigious Ball of Honour, a place filled with benevolent people, or so they think. During the event, a disaster breaks loose and reveals one of the guests to be a hacker. Can the Braw Agents unmask this secret crime lord?
