On the world known as Cyverus, biomechanical beings known as Cyberbeasts inhabit this world. These Cyberbeasts possess elemental powers thanks to the ether that flows through their veins. One day, the Meso continent, the Cyberbeasts of a nearby herd feast on the vegetation of their grassland home. That is when a frightening discovery was made. A Parasauraeros, a species of wind element hadrosaurs, had discovered an egg but not just any ordinary egg. Just then, the egg hatches and from it emerged a bipedal Cyberbeast with small arms ending in two fingered hands and who's mouth is full of bone crushing teeth. It was a Cryotyrannus rex, one of Cyverus' apex predators.
The hadrosaur panics and alerts the herd to the young tyrannosaurs presence. This gets the attention of one the herds leaders, Toro the Umberceratops(a nature element ceratopsid). Upon seeing the hatchling, Toro tries to kill it knowing full well the kind of monster it would grow into. Before he could though, Toro is stopped by a nature element sauropod and the other leader of the herd, an Sauroalderus named Titus. Titus decides to raise the young theropod along with the assistance of Stegoflorus, hoping this will result in it being raised as a protector of the herd and not a predator. The Cryotyrannus would go by the name of Tyrannos.
Over the months, Tyrannos would struggle to find his place in the herd. Many of the Cyberbeasts that called the herd home would be hesitant to go any where near Tyrannos. Some even showed hostilities towards him. But there was one Cyberbeast that not only showed no fear towards him, but saw Tyrannos as a friend. A Stegoflorus named Stera was Tyrannos' only friend for many years. The two would look after each other for years to come.
Twenty years later, Tyrannos has long since become accustomed to life in the herd, feeding on the fish and crayfish from a nearby river. On this day, Tyrannos gets up from under a tree and makes way for the river, his blue scales and silver spikes and horns more vibrant in the sunlight. Tyrannos approaches the river and waits. He watches the fish swim under the water, waiting for the right moment. A fish leaps out of the water, spooking Tyrannos at first but he then catches the fish as it falls back down.
As Tyrannos is about to eat the fish, he spots a familiar green and brown stegosaur. Tyrannos is joined by Stera who summons vines to catch more fish for her blue friend. He gruffs with the fish in his mouth upon seeing Stera show off her elemental powers. Stera chuckles and gives Tyrannos a friendly head pat with one of her vines. Stera then uses her vines to gather fruits from the nearby plants, giving most to the rest of the herd before sitting down to eat the rest of the fruits she gathered. Tyrannos sits next Stera and the two enjoy a fresh morning meal.
Elsewhere, over on a hill watching the herd is Toro and Titus. Toro sees Stera with Tyrannos and feels a visible disgust over the sight. The idea of a predator like a Cryotyrannus living amongst the herd fills him with anger. Titus sees the look on Toro's face and wrap his tail around the scarred ceratopsid. Toro, upon seeing Titus' tail around him, calms down enough to resume his watch over the herd, reminded of the agreement him and Titus made. With Toro and Titus watching the herd, all is peaceful in the grasslands they call home.
