The herd begins its trek for a new home. The herd travels for days on end. All the while, Tyrannos keeps a close eye out for Leonne. Eventually, the stumbles across a forest and, under the guidance of Toro and Titus, enters the forest. Unbeknownst to the herd, a pack of six Pyroraptors hide in the bushes waiting for the right moment to strike. The pack is comprised of three females with dark red feathers and three males with bright red feathers. Soon, the herd decides to stop for a quick rest. As much as Toro would want to keep moving, he knows that no species has unlimited stamina. Toro and Titus keep watch as the herd recovers its strength.
A few minutes later, a lone Parasauraeros wanders off for some food. Luckily, the forest has enough foliage to a hundred sauropods. To a hadrosaur like Parasauraeros, it's a full blown buffet. Little does the hadrosaur know, the Pyroraptors are stalking it with claws at the ready. In a flash, the Pyroraptors leap towards the Parasauraeros, sinking their claws into its metallic hide. The Parasauraeros is able shake some off it but remains on its side. The Parasauraeros' only option is run for the safety of the herd. The Pyroraptors give chase following the wounded hadrosaur, refusing to lose their meal. Just then, Tyrannos notices the chase and upon seeing the Pyroraptors decides to rescue the Parasuraeros. As the lone Pyroraptor was about to sink its teeth into the Parasauraeros, Tyrannos knocks the raptor off the wounded hadrosaur. Soon the rest of the pack gathers, ready to take on the Cryotyannus that let their prey escape.
The raptors begin by circling Tyrannos in search for an opening. Tyrannos keeps a close eye on the Pyroraptors, ready for an attack. That's when one of the Pyroraptors, one of the pack leaders, leaps into the air trying to go for an infernal attack from behind. Tyrannos notices this and smacks the raptor out of the air with his tail. Two more latch themselves onto his sides before proceeding to bite the Cryotyannus. Tyrannos then clamps his jaws on one of the raptors and tosses it aside before biting the other one and doing the same. Another pair of Pyroraptor decide to abandon the strategic approach and charge towards Tyrannos, teeth and claws at the ready. Tyrannos kicks one of the Pyroraptors and bites the other before tossing it towards a nearby tree. That only leaves the other pack leader. It becomes clear to Tyrannos that the pack lacks proper hunting experience. But with most of the pack dealt with, Tyrannos will have to deal the lone remaining member of the pack.
Tyrannos and the Pack Leader stare each other down, waiting for the right moment to strike. Just then, the two Cyberbeast charge straight towards each other. The Pack Leader leaps and latches itself to the side of Tyrannos' neck. The pack Leader bites and slashes at Tyrannos with its teeth and claws. Tyrannos tries to grab the Pyroraptor with his jaws but struggles at first. Eventually, Tyrannos bites down on the Pack Leader and tosses it aside. The Pack Leader lands with a hard thud before getting back up for another attack. That's when Tyrannos feels a surge of ether energy inside his body, a power he had felt back when he encountered Leonne. The Pack Leader sees this and lunges for Tyrannos, intent to sink its sickle claw into the Cryotyrannus' throat. Tyrannos' dorsal spikes begin to glow one by one with a bright icy blue light. Mid lunge, the Pack Leader watches as Tyrannos' eyes also glows a bright blue light. In a flash, Tyrannos opens his mouth and fires a bright stream of ice at the Pack Leader, turning it into solid ice that shatters upon hitting the ground. The rest of the pack could watch as one their leaders is defeated by one of Cyverus' apex predators. Upon seeing this the pack runs deeper into the forest, away from a now exhausted Tyrannos.
With the battle done, Tyrannos returns to the herd exhausted but alive. Tyrannos sees as Stera tends to the injured parasauraeros. After tending to the Parasauraeros, Stera notices Tyrannos' injuries and rushes over to him. As she begins to summon leaves with sap on them, Stera notices how Tyrannos feels colder than before, arctic cold. It was as if Tyrannos had fully discovered his powers. Tyrannos shows his new found powers by breathing cold air onto a nearby leaf. This confirms Stera's observation as she sees the leaf turn into solid ice. Instead of being fearful, Stera is actually glad that Tyrannos discovered his elemental powers. Of course, Stera is gonna have to assist Tyrannos as he tries to understand and control his new icy abilities. But for now, Tyrannos and Stera can rest knowing that protecting the herd just got a bit easier.
