Jude lies out cold and helpless on the ground, with their "deflation" (regarding their chest, if it wasn't obvious) in full view. Theo, Eiji, and Belial look on, very confused.

It doesn't take long for Jude to wake up, though. Theo really harps on the change (ineloquently), but Jude tries to keep their cool and focus on the bigger, more immediately pressing matters regarding Arc and the plush. This curse is, after all, nothing new to Jude. But unfortunately for them, it is a fascinating anomaly that seems incredibly suspicious to everyone else!

Now, these three have no idea what's happening, but Jude has explained it before, so we should know. If you need a refresher, the short version is their choker is cursed, quite unremovable, and activates a Ranma-esque change every twelve hours. Except it's very, very painful, often leading to them feeling sick or fainting.

And just because it comes up: Jude is indifferent to their pronouns. He/they would be preferable, they don't really correct anyone for saying she either. Just don't flip-flop around like Theo does. :P

Anyway, we'll revisit this later. Next time: a completely different scene.
