I just stare at Dr. Momo blankly, barely understanding half her words. I sit there for a moment, just trying to understand what she just said. “So… I was in the middle of the street?”
She nods, seemingly not having anything else to say. There is a long pause of silence as I don't say anything either, eventually Dr. Momo speaks, "Yeah, but it wasn't on purpose..."
As I was standing in the lunchroom, kids bustling around me. A brunette stood behind me and I'm pretty sure that I knew her. From how close she stood to my right and partially behind me in the lunchroom, I'm assuming that she's more than just a classmate, maybe my friend... I dunno. The lunchroom was loud and I hated it, but the girl behind me seemed not to want to eat alone... and I didn't want to disappoint. I sigh, I could see it in her maple colored eyes. Why do I even worry about people liking me? It feels like I'm doing it way too much...
The lunchroom doors open as a three girls walked in wearing Gucci bags, each one a different color slung over their arm, not one school supply in sight. They walked like models as if they were pretending to be on a runway. They were snotty enough to act like they were on top of the world. They walked in a triangle formation, a blonde in the front and two brunettes in the back. One of the two didn't seem to fit in the group as much, their vibe more tomboyish. But nonetheless, all the guys seemed to start drooling over the trio, whilst the girls wished that they were up there, walking behind the blonde. The leading blonde girl swayed across the now gawking lunchroom in her excessively high heels.
It took me a second to realize that I was falling, my lunch tray thrown in the air and falling after me. By the time I had landed face first on the floor, the attention was all on me and the girl behind me was nowhere in sight. Then my tray landed on my head, the mashed potatoes sinking into my hair with a thunk. Giggles erupt around the room, as I lay on the tiled floor covered in food.
When I look around I see the girl giggling too, chatting with one of the girls who was following the stuck up blondie. She gave off a sort of tomboy appearance with her cargo pants. Her shoulder length hair and cute appearance were the only things girly about her.
I stand up, walking towards the bathroom, but that tall sidekick blocks my way, looking directly at me with her sharp, yet kind blue eyes. She crosses her arms, her off-white pink skin easily visible in the light of the lunchroom.
