One morning, Tyler came to the shop wearing a blood-red murder poppy to commemorate Remembrance Day and handed one to the bottle filler and to a regular patron, both of whom refused.
"Here we support the veterans and the troops," proclaimed Tyler in a rage.
"My ancestors would be sickened by what this country has become," replied the patron.
"Well, go live in Afghanistan or Iraq if you don't like it here. We would all be speaking Arabic if not for our troops."
The bottle filler could only shake his head at such ignorance, but rather than escalate the situation, he decided to diffuse it.
"This isn't the time or place to discuss politics, as we are once again falling behind. And speaking of falling behind, when will we get paid?"
Mentioning pay caused Tyler to back off, as the greys have been there for three weeks and have yet to be paid.
"You'll get paid soon."
"And you, take your water and get out," yelled Tyler as he stormed upstairs to his office.
The regular patron was a tall, lanky, autistic sperg with brown hair and blue eyes named Harvey.
Harvey often pushed Tyler's buttons as he didn't respect his political views and saw him as supporting a controlled opposition.
Before leaving, he informed the bottle filler and bottle washer that Tyler is a drug dealer.
The greys were indifferent to drugs, believing people should be able to do whatever they wanted, but they also knew drugs were a weapon by the government against society.
Harvey had a different outlook.
"Drugs ruin people, and in turn those people ruin their communities, thereby affecting everyone."
The greys nodded in agreement.
"That's a great point; if your community deteriorates, so does your own quality of life," replied the bottle washer.
"Exactly!" said Harvey.
"You are pretty smart, Harv."
"I'm not smart; it's just common sense."
"Well, we can see how few people have common sense these days, as evidenced by all the mouth-breathing MAGAtards who come by here."
The greys now saw Tyler for what he was.
A merchant of misery and death. A societal cancer that had to be removed.
Harvey also informed them of a government-funded safe house nearby.
They greys told him they would check it out one day.
