I don’t know how it’s done these days but when I was in highschool; there was this whole process of sneaking around with one’s boyfriends and girlfriends without your parents finding out. Because trust me the last thing you wanted was your parents finding out that you were dating even though you were old enough to date, well its debatable because you are in highschool, but you get the gist. The kids had ton of tricks up their sleeve to lie to parents sometimes when someone calls you to check if their kid is with you meanwhile, she is out with her boyfriend somewhere, you put the phone on a conferences call and add your friend to create an illusion that you guys are together when in reality you are not.

Now that I think about it sounds like something someone who might do when they are cheating on their significant other maybe people who grew up doing this may grow up to be good at cheating, but I digress as insane as the whole situation sounds and as messed up as the family relations sounds in this situation this whole thing is a really fun activity to do at least according to me; and the adrenaline rush you get from it is pretty intense and I guess that was the same feeling Rayan and Aliza was having right about now. After Aliza walked out of the bathroom, she walked up to Rayan who was on the phone.

“We could always ask them to not take our pictures in return of giving them exclusives you know” Rayan said through his phone.

Aliza just stood there watching as he cut the call looking disappointed.

“What’s going on?” She asked there was a pang of nervousness in her voice as she sensed that he might go back on their plans because he feared getting exposed seeing with her.

“Well, I was just looking for a way to get out of here apparently the front door is stormed by media and Payal don’t want to risk us getting spotted by them” he said even as he was dialling another number so that somebody anybody could get him out of there.

“Oh, don’t bother I got this” Aliza took his hand, and they sneaked into the kitchen and walked out through the back door.

“Have you ever gone over the wall before?” She asked.

“All the time when I was young”

Aliza chuckled as she took off her shoes and handed it to him.

“Here hold this” She climbed over the wall and jumped over it like a pro even though Rayan was slightly worried trying to hold her clearly that women didn’t need any help. He followed her lead and jumped over the wall as well although he wasn’t as good as her, he somehow managed.

“Woah that was harder than I thought” Rayan commented.

“Well, all the papas in town are in front of the building so we have this whole street to ourselves”

 She walked backwards chuckling her eyes fixed on him as he put her heels over his shoulders looking over at her smiling the moonlight hit their faces and the light from the streetlight reflected off her outfit as the took a long walk.

“Aliza? Aliza Khan? Are you kidding me?”

Candace asked Rayan met her at the sets as they were shooting for their new movie Rayan and Candace have known each other for a long time now but never has she ever had a reaction so revolting to someone he was dating.

“Why are you reacting like I just told you I am dating bigfoot?”

“Actually, dating bigfoot would be better because bigfoot doesn’t have big bucks”

“Why do people act like I am a broke actor living in a cardboard box?”

“Because you were almost a broke actor living in a cardboard box once” Candace commented referring to Rayan’s struggling days that was one of the hardest times in his life which now that he had made it, they just laugh about. To be fair it did sting his ego a little, but Rayan wasn’t the kind of person who would let someone’s comments get to her. Especially not comments from Candace as she was someone who was technically in the same boat as him. Although its common knowledge that she had it much easier.

“Seriously Rayan do you even know how rich Aliza is? She is so rich she probably doesn’t even know that not all shoes have red soles”

Rayan thought back to the heels of her shoes he was holding as they were on their little walk and sure enough those had red soles, but he didn’t understand the significance of them.

“And you grew up so poor you don’t even know what that means” Candace continued.

While Candace sat Rayan down and went on a rant about how rich Aliza is Aliza was putting nail polish remover in her nail polish so that she could use it again even after it gets hard.

Yes, Aliza was rich, but she could be a cheap bitch when she had to be now why would you do that when you have more money than you can count? There is no apparent reason some people don’t like to waste their hard-earned money unless they really must and yes Aliza had a lot of shoes and yes most of them had red soles but that was a different story. Because shoes are an investment as there is nothing that makes a women more powerful than a good pair of heels. Aliza wasn’t that good with heels she was a bit clumsy but honestly it didn’t mean she couldn’t fall wearing a great pair of heels.

Rayan took a deep breath as Candace finished off explaining and an internal feeling that he had screwed up was welling up in his gut.

“I took her to get tea at a roadside tea stall”

Was all he managed to say. They did stop by a tea stall that night after the walk and Aliza was happy and excited being there as they sat at the small stall drinking tea and talking in the middle of the night. It was one of the best parts of the night. But now looking back he couldn’t help but feel like he had screwed up.

“Tell me you at least had your weird habit in check” Candace said snapping him out of his thoughts.

Now the habit Rayan had was a weird one, but it wasn’t as bad as Candace made it sound. When Rayan is out and gets a cup of tea he takes out a chocolate bar break of a piece dip it in his tea before eating it, well it may sound a bit weird to most people but according to him it was delicious, Candace had warned him never ever do it during a date under any circumstances but seeing his face he knew he had done it.

But unlike what Candace thought Aliza had found his little habit quite amusing and she had tried it for herself and loved it but of course now Rayan was thinking that she probably was just being nice and found it gross like most women.

“You are never seeing that women again mark my words”
