Rhythm was scared seeing his uncle waiting for him with a serious expression...

" What is the time now Rhythm?" he asked

"Uncle... My bike...-

" I asked you what is the time now ", He interrupted in a cold voice

"It's... It's.. 11:20 , Rhythm replied slowly"

"At what time should you return home ? "Mike asked

" Uncle ... I had to do a catch up with my subjects ...And August helped me... He even prepared notes for me...."

Rhythm took out his notes and showed them to Mike

"I was about to come but he insisted o having dinner since it was late " ... He continued "I'm sorry "

Rhythm made a pale face and looked down.... But Mike hold his hand... And showed him a bruise.... Rhythm widened his eyes... He must have got this bruise when he hit those goons

" Then what is this ?" Mike asked with a worried expression

"Oh... That... I got hit by the table at house" Rhythm replied casually

Mike looked at him with a serious expression and went inside

"Is he bringing stick to beat me ?, Or is he going to hit me with a belt ?" Rhythm Trembled at the thought

But then he saw Mike coming with first aid kit...

"Come here " he ordered

Rhythm walked towards him and Mike made him sit on the chair.... He washed the area with water and after cleaning it... he applied an cold ointment.... Rhythm hissed in pain...

But Mike pat his head

" I hope you're telling me truth ", he added, "don't mess like you used to do in school "

Rhythm remembered the time when He was mischievous and Mike was called for

Mike ran inside principal's office but he Soon stopped in his tracks when he saw Rhythm standing with a bruised eye... his bottom lip split and his shirt torn.... The principal was frowning but Mike checked on his nephew...

"Rhythm?... What happened are you alright?"

He asked and checked Rhythm...

"Mr Mike Rhythm has done something real serious now "

Principal said But Mike was busy looking at his bruised face

"Who did this to you " he asked

"Mr Mike...! He shouted again and Mike turned his attention towards him ... The principal gave an annoyed expression to him

"Last month... Rhythm broke a window "

" I didn't"

Rhythm interrupted but Mike told him to keep quiet...

" Such a brat you're, shut up " Principal scolded him

"Last week.... He put a lizard in Sir's food " he added

Mike looked at Rhythm and Rhythm looked at the other direction

" Yesterday, he broke Mr park's Spectacle "

"Well I didn't knew ... Someone kept it under my table "

Rhythm complained

"Shut up you Evil brat " principal shouted

"Excuse me.. I'm willing to pay all the fine... But please don't scare the child like this " Mike said

"Child ? This child of yours is a hooligan, he Beat Ron today to the point that he was taken to the Pharmacy "

"Well , he beat me first "

Rhythm said and Mike squeezed his hand...

" I'll ask forgiveness on his behalf to his parents and pay his medical bills"

Mike said feeling embarassed

"But uncle..he beat me first and tore my notebook " Rhythm whined

" Enough Rhythm..if this goes on like this I'm sorry Mr Mike... We've to rusticate Rhythm " Principal gave them a warning

" No ... Please no... Don't rusticate him... Please "

Mike joined his hands and Rhythm for the first time felt ashamed of himself... But then a man entered the office.. principal got up seeing him and bowed but the man ignored him and Caressed Rhythm's cheeks

" Are you alright son ?" He asked

Rhythm looked down and cried....But the man wiped his tears

"Alright... Alright... Don't cry " he turned towards the principal "I don't want to compain against him "

"But Mr Sean... He hurt your son " principal said

"Ron ... Ron " Sean shouted and a guy came inside, Sean grabbed his hand "apologise to Rhythm now "

Mike looked at him... The boy was looking pale and weak as if he was run down by a truck... He looked at Rhythm and knew he did it

"I'm sorry Rhythm, it was my mistake " Ron said

"Did you mess with him " Principal asked And Ron kept quiet

Sean shouted "tell them the truth brat "

"I messed with him and beat him first... He wasn't willing to fight but I coaxed him " Ron said

" Accept all your mistakes, now " Sean ordered

" I tried to frame Rhythm... He never played pranks with anyone... I broke the spectacle of Mr park... I did everything"

He said and the principal looked at Rhythm with a guilty face

"I'm sorry Rhythm... Sorry Mr Mike.. For troubling you "

Mike thanked Sean for helping them

" Thank you Mr Sean ...for helping us today... I truly apologize on the part of Rhythm and I'll pay all the medical bills Of Ron"

"Oh .. it's my son's fault too .." Sean said ... " He shouldn't have hit Rhythm like this "

Sean said and he ruffled Rhythm's hair...

" Are you hurt little baby ?" He asked ruffling Rhythm's hair and Rhythm shook his head

"Then how about I'll buy you new pair of sneakers "he added

"oh no... Uncle... I don't need them... " Rhythm said

" Deal.. I'll get an authentic ones for you and in return spare some Good Values to this idiot " Sean said as he hit Ron on his head

"You're spoiling him too much " Mike added

"I love to spoil and pamper him " Sean concluded

Rhythm and Mike parted ways from them and After returning from school... Mike bandaged his wounds... But he ignored him for almost a week.. Rhythm still remember his uncle didn't talk with him properly for a week after the incident...

"Uncle I'm sorry... Please talk to me " Rhythm cried

But Mike ignored him... He went before Mike and got on his knees

"What are you doing?...get up !!!"

Mike ordered

"Uncle please forgive me... I'll never fight with anyone... Please give me a chance "

Rhythm began to cry ... "I'm sorry... Please don't get angry with me ... I've only you and Steve... Please don't get angry with me "

"Get up ... Now " Mike ordered and Rhythm got up

"Promise me that you won't fight or indulge in these activities....and you'll never bring dishonour to my name... If I ever caught you breaking your promise... I'll break my ties with you " Mike snapped

Rhythm hugged his uncle and cried " I promise uncle I'll never fight or do anything that you'll feel 

ashamed "

Rhythm looked at the notification in his cell phone from crocodile... He eagerly Looked at the Message 

"I've reached home safely,"! 

A smile bloomed on his lips... He quickly replied "see you tomorrow" 

But then he got another message, " were you waiting for me ?" 

Rhythm couldn't deny himself that he was Worried for August and he was looking at the clock every minute... he didn't knew this feeling but certainly he knew it was more than worry for August... 

Then he got another notification "Good night" 

"Are you going to sleep ?" He messaged and quickly got a reply "Not yet " ... 

Rhythm thought whether he should Chat with August or not but then he got another message “let’s chat them " 

Rhythm smiled to himself and fell on the bed... He looked at the profile picture of August and giggled... He chatted with August and didn't know when he fell asleep
