A few hours pass since the attack. As the sun begins to set, the herd stops at a nearby forest. The herd hopes that the cover of night and the forest will protect them from anyone such as Leonne. While the herd prepares to rest for the night, Toro and Titus keep a careful watch for any predators. The old bull is furious that a Inferno lion was able to catch the herd off guard. Titus tries his best to reassure Toro but the old bull can't forgive such an error. But there is no time to dwell on what happened. Right now, Toro's and Titus' focus is to guard the herd as much as possible.
Meanwhile, Tyrannos and Stera try to get some rest after their encounter with Leonne. Tyrannos still hasn't fully recovered from the fight. All the while, Tyrannos blames himself for failing to stop Leonne again. Stera tries her best to reassure Tyrannos that he could have know Leonne was there. Even still, Tyrannos should have been able to see the lion hiding in the foliage. After all, Cryotyannus' have incredible eyesight. Stera and Tyrannos watch the herd from a distance as Stera points out one member in particular. Tyrannos recognizes the Cyberbeast that Stera had singled out. It was a Ankyloterrus, an earth element ankylosaur. The earthy brown contrasted skin and armor combined with some vibrant emerald green osteoderms was a dead give away. Stera and Tyrannos begin to remember the time when Tyrannos first joined the herd.
In their early days, Stera tried to show Tyrannos around the herd. While Tyrannos tried to interact with the other members, their skepticism of the young tyrannosaur prevented him from forming bonds outside of Stera's. A few Cyberbeasts were even hostile towards Tyrannos, seeing him the same way Toro does. Only Stera and her per parents stood up for him. Stera even protected him from an Ankyloterrus who had broke Tyrannos' leg at one point, leaving a scar on the ankylosaurs face. Of course, being a carnivorous species Tyrannos needed to eat meat, lots of meat. That is when Stera thought of a solution for Tyrannos' dietary needs.
The two approached a massive lake in the center of the grasslands. They watched as fish and other aquatic creature swam under the surface of the water. Stera gestured at Tyrannos to tell him to catch the fish, or at least to try and catch the fish. At first, Tyrannos struggle to catch his prey, the fish were too fast for him. Even worse was that his failed attempts always spooked the fish away from where he was. Eventually, Tyrannos learned to be patient and wait. His predatory instincts told him to wait for the right moment. Soon Tyrannos was able to catch his first prey. He celebrate by showing his first catch to Stera. Stera was glad to see her friend happy and finds Tyrannos jumping with fish in his mouth funny. Over the years, Tyrannos would sustain his diet from a mixture of fish and other aquatic creature found in the lake.
Back in the present, Tyrannos and Stera wonder why Leonne was following them and what was he trying to say. Was he telling Tyrannos that coexistence with prey is not possible? Was he reminding Tyrannos of how everyone in the herd sees him, even Stera? Neither of them truly know Leonne's intent. What matters now is that they must ensure the herd make it to its new home. It is crucial that Tyrannos and Stera protect the herd from predators like Leonne. After all, if two Cyberbeast from two different species can be friends, who's to say Cyberbeasts can't coexist with each other. Even if it seems futile, they have to try at the very least. With the moon illuminating the night sky, Tyrannos and Stera fall asleep, hoping for a better tomorrow.
