Dandy Jukebox is a fine jazzman in 1947 Los Angeles! With his band, The Phonographs, they put on top notch shows at their residency in The Rendezvous Hall. However, when Jukebox gives an interview to a local music publication, his lack of romantic relationships is put into question. Not only does Jukebox have to consider why he isn't a romantic person but an idea is instilled in his mind that he simply can't feel love.
And if he can't feel love, can he feel at all?
