The design of this tiger hat isn’t really based on any opera, or extant historical artefacts for that matter. It’s a result of me endlessly perusing online, searching for a good reference, only to come up with pictures of vintage-ish looking tiger hats with no one knowing where or when they came from.
So for the historically savvy readers, I'm sorry if the design looks painfully modern!
