"Are you doing okay?" Doctor Momo asked, waving a hand in front of my face as I refocused my attention on the present once again.

"Yeah yeah, nevermind it's nothing. I'm alright." I replied, sitting up a bit straighter as I realized that I was slouching.

"Okay then, I'll be back to check on you in a few hours. Make sure you get some sleep, you're still quite daze-y."

"Mhm, delicate like a daisy."

The doctor gave me a weird look before standing up and slowly making her way to the door of my hospital room as she spoke. Momo weaved her way through the medical equipment and around the farthest corner of my bed. "Well... get some rest, Social Services will be coming by tomorrow. They'll make sure that you'll have a safe place to stay, don't worry." On that note, she walked out, closing the door behind her.
