There's no way...

The world wasn't that cruel. To play this sort of sick game with him. He knew he wasn't the best, and he knew he hadn't always lived this best life. But wasn't this going to far.

What was he doing here?

"Jacob?" The two stood in a long stare off, but as confused as the other. The other man blinks, finally coming to his senses. "Jacob. Oh my God!"

Jacob doesn't wait for him to say another word. "Let's go." He scoops Laura up, the confused little girl making a loud, surprised sound as she's lifted off the ground. "Dad!" 

He makes a beeline for the entrance, the other man fast on his heels. "Jacob please wait!"

"Let's not do this Mingyu" He huffs, with carrying both Laura and all her bags, and the tight feeling in his chest, Jacob felt as though he'd pass out any second. He spots his car in the park lot and hurriedly makes his way over to it. All the while the words, "get away" kept running around in his head. 

Jacob couldn't face him, he wasn't supposed to even be here. They weren't supposed to ever see eachother again. 

He places Laura down, who by now had begun to tear up, not understanding why her dad was behaving the way he was. The four year old tugs at his trousers, eyes misty, "Dad!" 

Jacob fumbles for his keys, meeting his daughters eyes momentarily, "It's going to be okay sweetie, we just need to get out of here."

"But my first day" Laura cries, burying her face in her hands. Jacob finally manages to get the car open, but just as he's about to lift his daughter into her seat, he's pulled back into a solid chest. 

"I can't believe it's you" Mingyu whispers into the smaller man's hair, and for a second Jacob stiffens up, he was in his arms once again. His familiar scent almost taking over his thinking. "Were sorry, were so sorry" And then he remembers why he had grown to detest this man, "Fuck off!" He pushes the taller man off him.

Mingyu stumbles back, almost hitting Laura, who had now stopped crying and was now more interested in the man who just now hugged her angry Dad. 

Jacob throws him a dirty look and shoves him aside. There was nothing he wanted to say to him now. He just wanted him out of his life. He wanted them out of his life. 

"Laura, get in the car" Seeing that her dad was serious, she lifts her arms for her dad to help her up and he does, helping her into her car seat while Mingyu stands aside. A million thoughts running trough his head. 

"Who's the kid?'' He suddenly asks as Jacob closes the back seat door. He didn't need to answer that, the fact that she was their kid even made it more of a reason to not answer. 

He gets in his car, and attempts leaving, but Mingyu quickly shoves himself between the car door and the drivers seat, where Jacob sat. "Are you mad?"

"Jacob I'm so sorry. Can't we just talk even if for a minute. I and Jaemin have been going crazy looking for you everywhere. Please just let us explain."

"You've got to be kidding me" The biracial man laughs, glaring fiercely at the taller male. "Fuck off" He manages to push the man away from the door, closes it and puts his car in gear.

Quickly rolling out of school he doesn't look back, but manages to catch his daughter's tear stained face in the rear view mirror.

"So you're telling me one of your exes showed up at your daughter's school, and you suspect that he's even her teacher?" 

Jacob nods at the elder man's words, "Taeju hyung, I don't know what to do" Jacob sighs, his head falling into his hands. Taeju sighs, dropping the cup of tea in his hand unto the coffee table placed infront of him. "I think you shouldn't think to much about it"

Taeju was an elder male omega that lived on the same floor as Jacob, he was one of the closet people to the him, and had helped him so much during his entire gestation period. Taeju was like an older brother to him this past four years, and honestly he talked to him about everything.

 Maybe why they were so close was because of their shared mother hood. Taeju was a off twins, and with the knowledge of having kids he was of great help to someone like Jacob who didn't know the first thing about mother hood. 

"What do you mean?" 

"I mean don't give a fuck" Taeju deadpans, "What you did today proves that you still have some feelings towards those bastards." 

Jacob sighs, "Fuck. I just don't want them to see Laura. The last thing I want is them finding out that they have a kid" 

Taeju stares at the man's launched over figure, it was evident that he still hadn't gotten over both men, even though he tried to deny it. 

He needed to get himself together.
