The final day arrived, the day when everyone would learn exactly what the tokushu exam was about. Zenatori's phone rang repeatedly, and he finally awoke from his slumber. He saw his freshly dried clothes laid out on the stand next to him, and he proceeded to slip them on.

He slowly made his way to class, not thinking too hard about the exam. He could only think of why they didn't tell everyone in the first place. The only plausible answer was so that no one could prepare and not be able to gain an advantage over the other. Regardless, he finally made it to class and walked in, locating his desk and taking his seat. 

He looked around the room, feeling an unpleasant sense of dread, as he heard the desperate whispers of his classmates from each side of the room. People are nervously tapping their pens and constantly adjusting themselves in their seats, bouncing their feet constantly as a means to reduce stress.

As his eyes shifted to his right, he saw even the unbreakable Naoko Akari, afflicted by this. Was it always this bad? Had Zenatori made a mistake entering the exam? Whatever it was, it was all too late to turn back.

Several moments passed, and Mashaka finally walked in as if see would mark down people exiled for judgment. She rested her arms on her stand and took a deep breath.

"I'm sure you all are waiting for what I have to say, so I'll get straight to the point. Tsuyo Hayoku will cast a reactionary barrier to protect you all from any outside forces. As for you all, you will be into solos with only yourself to worry about, meaning you will have to go against your own friends. You will all be transported to a nearby forest outside the school, and the exam will begin 30 minutes after everyone has touched the island. 

Tsuyo Hayoku will shoot a ball of fire in the air to indicate that the 'free for all' has started. There will be numerous automorphs on the island, and once you tame at least ten and expel them to it will pass. You have until sundown to give me the automorphs, and the barrier will release when the time is up. 

You can take someone else's automorph by any means necessary, by either forcing them to expel it, and as long as you bring it to me, you will get credited. Everyone should know the basics of manipulating Isotonic Force at this point; the rest is up to you."

Instant comotion spread across the class, yelling, confusion, and all in between. Zenatori felt a shiver down his spine once he thought of it.
"Expel? Taming automorphs? What's going on? There's no way they would let us die or anything, right?"
