Hayoku and Zenatori sit in Hayoku's limo, and they leave the city. Hayoku glances at Zenatori and says,
"I assume you know about relative manifestations, how about absolute?"
Zenatori looks shaky,
"Are we gonna ignore the fact that half of Bunkyo is destroyed?"
Hayoku slits his eyes,
"Ah, that, apparently, a Shinda-Class Automorph did that. Unfortunately, I wasn't there at the moment."
Hayoku notices the worried look on Zenatori's face and says,
"Hey, don't worry, I'm the strongest there is."
He reaches his arms out and slightly yawns before continuing.
"Speaking of automorphs, due to the Hirata Botan situation and the fear of greater threats, I've been tasked to subdue an S-Grade Automorph. Its name is Sogarukoga. It, on its own, is powerful, but it has a rather unique ability: every time you kill it, it comes back stronger. It originally was born really weak about a few decades ago after the Kekka period, and it's been growing in strength since then. The Overseers had to issue a warning not to even approach it, so we can figure out its weakness. It's most likely soul elimination like every Automorph, but we can't be so quick."
Zenatori looks at him,
"Do you think you could subdue it?"
Hayoku scoffs and looks slightly offended at even asking the question. He then says,
"I told you, I'm the strongest there is, I am strength. I'll just one-shot it with my absolute manifestation. If it survives, well, we are all dead. But that won't happen."
"We're here, sir," said the driver.
"Thanks, Koubaski," said Hayoku.
Zenatori and Hayoku step out of the car, and Hayoku confronts the monster.
"Hey, you big bastard," says Hayoku.
The gigantic red automorph turns back. It has extremely hard tactile skin and sharp edges. No visible eyes, instead, its face is just one giant triangular plate.
Hayoku steps back and does a hand sign with each hand.
The of fire and ice combine to create a crackling ball of absolute Isotonic Force, before Sogarukoga can react Hayoku shoots the Isotonic ball at it.
The automorph is quickly obliterated, and Hayoku says,
"Syneji I Bow: Subdue."
Zenatori says,
"That was pretty anticlimactic."
Hayoku says,
"Did you expect some giant fight?"
Zenatori says,
"I'm not sure what I did, to be honest."
Hayoku looks at Zenatori and says,
"I heard you learned Isotonic Force Manipulation. Try it."
Suddenly, Zenatori Veins crackle with a greyish ooze flowing from them.
Hayoku looks slightly shocked and says,
"You're definitely an interesting one. I thought you learned it in the midst of an adrenaline rush, so I just wanted to test if you could do it on command."
Zenatori scoofs,
"Trust me, Akari learned it already, I'm nothing special."
Hayoku glares at Zenatori and says,
"Naoko Akari comes from a long line of Syneji Artists and has been learning it since she hit puberty, though I will admit its quite impressive shes already learned the relative in a year you can't keep holding yourself back Zenatori. The mind is the greatest enemy, don't enslave yourself Zenatori.
He slowly places his arm on Zenatori's shoulder
"Be the Syneji Artist you were meant to be, be who you are meant to be."
