I Know my mother Left me...No one has to tell me..I've known for the l-longest time..and my confirmation was when i Overheard the guards talking in the basement when i was confined, they were talking about how the kids were either sold off...or how they came here willingly to pay off their parent's debts, but none ever said they were brought here by being kidnapped...that truth, that..t-terrible..truth...sunk into my heart so heavily..I couldn't stop crying.
(The next day)
(7's room)
she laid there staring into the ceiling. "these braids are making my head hurt.." she frowned. she got up slowly trying not to think of the pain as she cried lightly.
she took out the braids, letting her golden messy hair cover her sadden face. "I won't let them do this to me..not anymore they won't see my face break down..I've been here for too long.." she said in her rough raspy voice.
"7...you've been in this room for 4 hours now..it's going on 6:00 Are you sure you want to be in here any further?" a guard asked. "what do you think? I can't move.." 7 Mumbled. "the boss thinks you sh— "I don't care what he thinks my strength is all gone now..just leave me alone." 7 mumbled, leaning on the pillow.
she stared at the wall, caught into one of her little dazes. the door opens, and 7 Looks up. "what an interesting sight to see, who would've thought you would have it..that sad longing look.." Haru said, tilting her head. "what do you want...Haru?" 7 said.
"well, I am your caregiver..so I should be doing my job Yes?" she said, smiling. "well then get up. up, up!" haru said. "Just leave..me alone, I seriously don't care what you guys do if i don't..I'm done." 7 said. haru didn't say anything but stood there for a moment her eyes looked weird, and 7 caught it but didn't say anything. haru goes over to 7 and goes onto her bed as she crawled over to her looking at her disheveled appearance. "what?" she said looking at her.
"it doesn't matter if you break..you must get up now. I'm your caregiver! so let's go I'll help you." she said smiling. "I don't understand why you keep saying that..word.." 7 mumbled.
"Hm? what..?" haru said tilting her head. "caregiver..you keep saying that..but let's be real you aren't qualified to be one, just like every other person here pretending there something they're not, and besides your not much older then me I'd give my guess you're probably 3 years older then me..so why...are you even here?" 7 asked.
But of course she doesn't get a response so haru changes the subject.
"Ah! and i've gotten you a present..here a wheelchair." she said glancing to it as the guard came in with it.
the guard grabbed 7, putting her in the wheelchair. 7 let out a moan of pain. "Hmm much better yes? those crutches weren't helping you." haru said, as she pushed her out. 7 put her head down and closed her eyes.
"Hmmm 7! Look at that view!" haru said. and 7 Looked over at the huge window. "it's the same as always..depressing..I'm not seeing anything new..the stonix realm has always looked like this..." 7 said. "No, you're wrong..it hasn't actually Looked this pitiful, but that was about...30 years ago, My grandmother showed me a picture of how the stonix realm actually looked like would you like to see 7?" haru asked, bending down to her.
"...i suppose so.." 7 said looking up. haru went into her pocket showing 7 a picture of the stonix realm from so long ago. "you're Joking right?" 7 asked haru glancing to her.
"No I'm not..Yes it looks very very different from the stonix realm now..but..that was it, they had a school and all for everyone it was very..fun to be at then,....well now." she mumbled. 7 Looked a the picture again the old stonix realm that had water and tree's and kind looking people..Kind looking...Humans...
"so what happend then? why'd everything change...so much?" 7 asked. "well..there's different stories..so I don't know..some say there was a war, which would make the likely sense..so I'm guessing it turned so bad that everyone abandoned this place and only the bad people took it and made it to how it is now..i suppose.." she said.
"I don't know why you showed me this.." 7 glared. "to cheer you up." she said, smiling. "but it didn't..it just made me more angry! Knowing it was peaceful but of course something just had to happen and now because of that something I'm here! stuck here!!!!" she yelled. "let's move on then." haru said grabbing the picture back into her pocket.
haru pushed 7 into a darker hallway. "where are we going?" 7 asked. "Ah I have to go to the bathroom.." haru mumbled. "seriously?" 7 groaned. "it'll be just awhile alright? I'll be back okay?" haru said. leaving 7 by herself in the dark hall. "WAIT WAIT" 7 shouted but haru was already gone.
"Ugh....just great now I'm stuck in this hallway with no light..." 7 mumbled. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!" a girl screamed.
"what was that??" 7 mumbled to herself as her heart quickened. she pushed herself to the noise going over to it.
"Please I'm BEGGING YOU STOP!!!!!!!!" the girl screamed. "stay still now 9!" the guard yelled. "9...?" 7 mumbled. getting closer. "AUGH! PLEASE STOP! PLEASE IT HURT'S I'M BEGGING YOU STOP HURTING ME!" she yelled.
"that's enough 9!" the guard yelled. 7 went over to the cracked door. seeing them "they're going to try and take her magic..." 7 mumbled, seeing the seen before her.
"Please I'm begging you DON'T DO THIS!" 9 yelled. the other guard went over to 9. "that's the head guard..what's he doing there?" 7 Mumbled.
The head guard went over to 9 grabbing her head. "sleep." he said. "Grab the drill." the head guard said. 7 glances her eyes to the doctor. "I've never seen Him before..I guess there are different doctors..out of all them why'd i have to get doctor Ren..." 7 whispered. the doctor went over to 9's unconscious body grabbing her arm and drilling off the cuffs that stops there magic.
7 eyes widened in shock holding her mouth, from gasping. "It all makes sense..Of course.." 7 mumbled.
Why did I never think to thought that they wouldn't take off the cuffs..they would have too in order to use our magic that's why they always knock us out!! and why these's cuffs are so thick!
she quickly got out of there but quietly to not be discovered.
she went back to the spot haru left her at. and put her hair in her face again closing her eyes.
"Ah 7 I'm Back Hopefully i wasn't gone too Long?" haru said. "N-No you weren't.." 7 said, trying to calm down. "Ahh Okay great! then let's go!" haru smiled, as usual. "I-I..Uhm..can we do this some other time? I'm really sleeeepy..." 7 said. "Oh? Uhm...I guess sure." haru said, wheeling her back. I Thought for sure she'd protest..
7 went back into her room thinking about what just occured.
"Okay..Okay..let's calm down..." 7 said, shaking trying to calm down her breathing.
Okay, so..the only way to get out of here is that drill..and a teleportion thing. I need to get out of here! first things first, I need to heal! but it'll be way faster if i get these cuffs off and use my blood manipulation to heal myself..they said they're going to war or whatever right? that's when I'll strike..Once they call me over to use my powers, i'll stay awake..I have too.
I HAVE TO ESCAPE..
