The university Noel attends in the first panel is loosely based on the real-life Humboldt University in Berlin, located on Unter den Linden. I actually went there in person, sneaking around to take photos of the exterior as part of my “research.” 👍
As for the chat app Finn is using, it’s inspired by Telegram (well, basically Telegram). In Berlin, Telegram isn’t just used for underground purposes—it’s also super common for everyday communication between friends.

“Omegaverse x Sci-Fi Mystery x Coming-of-Age Ensemble Drama”
Finn and Noel, both orphaned Omegas, have survived the harsh realities of the slums by leaning on each other.
Seeking a new beginning, they arrive in NeuBerlin, a “free zone” that welcomes people of all genders and nationalities. As they settle into their new city and begin forming bonds with new friends, their fragile peace is shattered by the appearance of a mysterious masked figure targeting them. Meanwhile, the rumblings of an Alpha vs. Omega conflict grow louder in the streets of Neue Berlin.
What does it mean to be “normal”? And what future awaits them as they navigate this turbulent world?
