It's up to you all to decide we either sleep outside when day breaks or we walk during the sunrise for an additional 3 hours to the next house" . It might have seemed like an easy decision but here's the problem: to sleep outside would mean dealing with whatever is outside and while waking in the sun for 3 hours might not seem that bad. It would cut into our sleeping time on our already exhausted bodies and we'd have to deal with the heat. We all knew both options had their cons and pros but the adults decided it'd be best to walk the extra hours. All the children looked at one another sharing the expression you make when your parents make you do more work when you think you're done. With the news of the additional walking talk my footsteps began to get heavier. I might have enjoyed the warmth of yesterday's moment but I do not wish to enjoy the warmth of the sun on this walk.
