Near the end of the ruling of the Vesta empire over the continent of Vestal is the city state of Starden. Starden was actually one of the states of the Vesta empire. In fact, it was the first one to rebel. This came at a great cost as no way would King Victor allow any territory of his to leave his domain. What was worse was the Vesta empire's capital being located in the center of the continent on the Volo mountain range. Volo, the original capital state of the Vesta empire was located on almost navigable mountains. Due to this Starden could not directly frighten Volo. Volo kept control over the other states of the Vesta empire due to its geography. It could easily attack both every city-state leaving them decimated. Starden in spite of this chose to fight for their freedom. Unfortunately Starden was a mostly rural city-state that sat on a flat plateau that was great for farming but was terrible for defensive positions as the entire region was nearly entirely flat. Even worse is Volo's long history of burial practices led to catacombs leading under their walls that they patrolled heavily and used to send undead armies to terrorize its rebelling states. In the center of Starden laid its central citadel which was the territory's only defense. Volo started cutting off rivers to the farming communities of most of Starden. This was all a part of their plan to burn most of the territory's food supply. The rebellion eventually got pushed as far back as the central citadel. Princess Centri and Prince Chime of the Vesta empire laid siege to the citadel. Everything began to look dire as Chime's weaponry seemed to destroy the citadel's 40ft walls that protected it from the invading army. The citizens of the city-state began to panic and flee in different directions considering the citadel was a maze of stairs and towers many people lost their lives in trying to escape. Lee the master of magic of the Vesta empire decided to protect the city and fought back against Victor in his forces. As the struggle went on the people of Starden prayed for help. Even though many thought it was in vain as Volo is the holy land of fallen and therefore they did not expect any assistance. Contrasting the purple roofs and the white walls and columns of the citadel was a bright yellow light. This bright yellow light emitted from the top of the tallest tower in the citadel. People cried in awe as it was clear to them their prairies were answered. Sunny the goddess of their sun, Solar had answered. With their combined force Lee and Sunny were able to defeat Victor sealing him away. Now Victor waits to be freed from the prison Lee put him in.
