Although fuzzy from the dust we all knew what we saw. The same flashed into all of us at that moment. HIDE! We needed to hide immediately and pray they hadn't seen us yet. Adrenaline pumped into every one our heads began to turn looking for a place to hide. The closest shelter we could find was an old run down building with three walls. Everyone ran, we all knew we couldn't get caught and that building was our best option. No one would've believed that a group as exhausted as ours could run as fast as we did. Adrenaline is truly a powerful drug. When we all arrived behind the building's walls we could do nothing but pray. Pray that they didn't drive on the side without a wall and didn't stop to search. Everything was over the second we got caught. It got closer and closer. I prayed harder and harder. Our anxiety grew as the car got closer. One question continued to pop up in my head. Will we make it?
Taking a risk his father abandons the gang he was forced into 10 years ago after his brother borrowed money and ran. But now their family must flee their home and cross the border to gain the chance of survival. Otherwise they will most certainly die. Will they be able to make it across? And if they do will they be welcomed?
