My sly omega (BL- Omegaverse)

Where Is He?

Where Is He?

Jan 08, 2025

Their first kiss was unexpected but definitely electric. Kim Woo-Jin’s back pressed firmly against the door, as his lips moved against Aaron's. The world around them seemed to vanish, replaced by the heat of the moment—the sound of lips meeting, the faint scent of Aaron’s pheromones, and the way their bodies moved instinctively, like two pieces of a puzzle locking together.

Until the door handle rattled, and before either of them could react, the door swung open with a force. Kim Woo-Jin, who had been leaning against it with all his weight, suddenly stumbled back.

It all happened too fast.

Kim Woo-Jin stumbled backward into the hallway as his balance completely shattered with the opening of door. Aaron, who was caught on Kim Woo Jin arms, couldn’t regain his footing in time and slipped on the smooth floor.

And the next moment they both crashed to the ground. Kim Woo-Jin landed flat on his back, and Aaron  landed on top of Kim Woo-in, his face directly burying against Kim Woo-Jin’s chest.

For a moment, the world seemed to pause.

They lay there, stunned and breathless. Kim Woo-Jin stared blankly at the ceiling as his mind try to catch up with what just happened, while Aaron’s face still buried against his chest.

And then, reality came crashing in.

Kim Woo-Jin lift his head just enough to peek at their surrounding to only find a large number of audience.

Dozens of faces were staring, eyes widen in shock, jaws slack and their gazes darting between Kim Woo-Jin’s disheveled hair, Aaron’s equally tousled appearance, and the undeniable flush of crimson on both their faces. And then the stare turned into whispers.

“Is that... Kim Woo-Jin?”

“What were they doing in there?”

“I think they were... kissing?”

“Kissing?! Kim Woo-Jin?!”

“I thought he hated omegas!”

Aaron was the first to recover, standing to his feet. He brushed imaginary dust off his uniform, though the redness creeping up his neck betrayed his embarrassment.

“Uh... That’s an interesting way to make an entrance,” he muttered, glancing down at Kim Woo-Jin with a half-smirk.

Kim Woo-Jin, on the other hand, was far less composed. He stood up after a few moments, his face burning as if he’d been caught in the middle of some unspeakable act. His chest heaved as he tried to steady his breathing, but the humiliation was all-consuming.

He could feel everyone eyes drilling into him and the whispers growing louder. His jaw clenched, and he ran a hand through his messy hair, glaring at the floor as if it could swallow him whole.

Aaron, ever the opportunist, leaned down slightly, his smirk widening as he whispered just loud enough for Kim Woo-Jin to hear.

“I think we made our first kiss quite memorable. And with a lot of audience, too.”

Kim Woo-Jin’s heart skipped a beat.

First kiss.

The words echoed in his head like a gong, louder than the murmurs around him. His fingers instinctively brushed his lips, and for a fleeting moment, he forgot about the crowd, the whispers, and the embarrassment.

His mind replayed the kiss—how warm Aaron’s lips had been, how natural it had felt, how his own body had betrayed him by leaning in instead of pulling away. A dangerous thought crossed his mind before he could stop it:

How is he so good at kissing?

The thought, unfiltered and treacherous, slipped out of his mouth loud enough to be heard by nearby students and definitely Aaron.

“How can he be so good at kissing?"

The hallway fell into a stunned silence for a beat before Aaron’s mischievous laughter cut through it like a blade. He tilted his head, his smirk turning into something almost predatory.

“So, you liked it, huh?”

Kim Woo-Jin’s eyes widened, his flush deepening to an impossible shade of red.

“What? Hell no!” he stammered, whipping his head away to avoid Aaron’s teasing gaze.

Aaron didn’t let up, his grin mischievous.

“Don't lie, sweetheart, after kissing me back—very enthusiastically.”

Kim Woo-Jin shot him a sharp glare, but the redness in his ears betrayed his embarrassment. Aaron only leaned in closer, a playful glint in his eyes, making Kim Woo-Jin flinch ever so slightly.

“If you’re this flustered now,” Aaron continued, his voice low and teasing, “I can’t imagine how you’ll survive the second one.”

Kim Woo-Jin froze at the implication, his mind spiraling at the thought of “more.” Before he could retort, his phone buzzed in his pocket, saving him from further torment.

Taking it out quickly, he glanced at the screen. Seeing the caller ID, his expression shifted to something more serious. He cleared his throat and answered, “Hello, Mom… Yes… I’m coming soon.” His tone was calm and composed—completely different from the flustered boy he had been moments ago.

Ending the call, Kim Woo-Jin slid his phone back into his pocket and turned to leave. He took a step but then stopped abruptly, glancing back at Aaron with a look that was unreadable, though his flushed ears gave him away.

Without warning, Kim Woo-Jin leaned in close—too close—and his warm breath brushed against Aaron’s ear as he whispered, “Let’s continue the second one tomorrow.”

Before Aaron could process the words or the proximity, Kim Woo-Jin straightened and walked away, his strides measured and confident, as though he hadn’t just turned Aaron upside down.

Aaron stood frozen in place, his ears flushing a deep crimson that spread to his neck. His heart pounded wildly, his thoughts in disarray.

Second one?

Kim Woo-Jin’s casual acceptance of the idea of a “second one” replayed in his head.

He scratched the back of his neck nervously, a rare moment of hesitation breaking through his usual bravado. “The hell was that?” he muttered to himself, though the faint curve of a smile tugged at his lips.

                                                                              ---------------------------------

Three days later

The classroom buzzed with its usual noise—students chattering, chairs scraping, and books rustling.  But it was all background static to Aaron, who was drowning in his own storm of emotions. Betrayal. Hurt. And most of all, rage.

His glare was fixed on the classroom door. His foot tapped against the floor, each muffled thud grating on his nerves.

Three days of silence. Three days of being ignored. Three days of feeling like an idiot for letting himself believe, even for a second, that Kim Woo-Jin actually cared.

“Who does he think he is?” he muttered under his breath.

“Saying we’ll 'continue the second one tomorrow' and then vanishing like some kind of ghost. Seriously, the audacity!"

He clenched his fists, the memory of Woo-Jin’s words and actions replaying in vivid detail. The warmth of his lips, the way his hand lingered on Aaron’s wrist—it wasn’t just some mistake. It had felt real. At least, Aaron thought it had.

“You can’t just kiss someone like that and then disappear.”

His gaze dropped to the desk as frustration tightened his throat.

“You don’t get to act like nothing happened. Not after...”

The creak of the classroom door snapped him out of his thoughts. His head shot up, heart leaping with a spark of irrational hope.

But it wasn’t him.

The hope crashed, sharp and unforgiving, leaving Aaron bitter and hollow. He slumped back in his seat, crossing his arms defensively over his chest. His jaw clenched as his foot resumed its tapping, louder and faster this time, like an unspoken declaration of his frustration.

Three days. Three days of waiting, convincing himself there had to be a reason—Woo-Jin was busy, nervous, or dealing with something important. But now?

Now, Aaron felt like a fool. That kiss, the one that had consumed his thoughts, clearly meant nothing to Woo-Jin.

“Fine,” he muttered, a dangerous gleam flickering in his eyes. “If he’s not going to come to me, then I’ll find him myself.”

Aaron pushed back his chair with a loud scrape, the sound drawing a few curious glances from his classmates, but he didn’t care.

If Woo-Jin thought he could avoid him forever, he was dead wrong. Aaron wasn’t the type to let things slide—not when his heart was on the line.

He knew exactly where to go to and his feet carried him to his destination.

Reaching Jung’s classroom, Aaron shoved the door open. His eyes immediately locked onto Jung who was sitting casually at his desk.

Jung looked up and his face immediately lighten up witnessing Aaron. “Aao—”

But Aaron cut him off before he could finish.

“Where is he?”
