Far away, in a magnificent palace in the clouds, live the patron deities. They are the guardian spirits who watch over our souls and help us find happiness. While the other spirits hold fast to traditions, Indigo likes to mix things up a little... which includes falling in love with one of the humans they're supposed to be protecting. Decades later, to a young girl named Laura, Indigo tells the sweet, funny, and often sad story of what it was like to be an immortal deity in love with a mortal human.
