I had no idea what would happen after I drew the first panel on August 16th, 2000. I had no outline, just a few character sketches. Discovering the story as I went, without going back or editing, was a lot of fun! But as the story progressed, I started planning ahead—first a few panels, and eventually entire story arcs of around 100 pages.
