atsuya's house we go to then! I, Victoria, Auntie Tat, and Tatsuya all went to my car.

We approached the car, my new driver waiting for me.

"Are you the one Auntie sent?" I asked.

"Yes, Miss Rhoa. I'm your new driver, Louise," the driver said.

"Well, these here are my friends and my friend's mother," I said.

"H-hello," Auntie Tat said.

"They'll be coming with us," I said.

"Where to, ma'am?" Driver Louise asked.

"Inform my aunt and Victoria's mother we'll be going to Tatsuya's house," I said.

"Very well," Driver Louise said.

We then entered my car and headed to Tatsuya's house. That was the moment I knew this would be a good year. After lots of talking with Victoria and Tatsuya, and a delicious Takoyaki from Auntie Tat, I left Tatsuya's house and dropped off Victoria. Then I went back home.

Life was good. I would go to school, meet Tatsuya and Victoria. After our lessons, we went to Tatsuya's house. Then we would go home to each other's houses. It went like that again, again, and again.

Something big also happened. We graduated from Grade One and Grade Two. Tatsuya also decided to cut his long bangs, and his eyes were beautiful! Every time I saw him, I felt something weird. Something was wrong with my chest and my stomach.

Then once we started Grade Three, Tatsuya started befriending other kids, although we would still go to his house. But every time Tatsuya hung out with someone who wasn't me, I felt sad. I felt awful. One day, I talked to Victoria about this.

After one recess, Victoria wheeled me back to class. We then sat at our desks. I started staring at Victoria. Victoria noticed.

"What?" Victoria asked.

"Do you know about boys?" I asked.

"Is it Tatsuya?" Victoria asked.

I was surprised.

"What? Hahahaha. No. It's a friend..." I said.

"Really?" Victoria said.

"Yes. You don't need to know," I said, embarrassed.

"Okay then. I'm your girl. Ask me anything," Victoria said, proud of herself.

"So. My friend has a boyfriend," I said.

"Uh-huh, then?" Victoria asked.

"So. My friend, who's a girl, whenever she sees the pretty face of her male friend, it feels weird. Her heart suddenly pounds and her stomach hurts!" I said.

"It sounds like you're the one experiencing this," Victoria said.

"No, I'm not! And then, if this male friend gets too close to other girls, my friend feels sad!" I said.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, short-haired, cute-faced, chubby, Japanese-American Tatsuya appeared.

"Who's friend's sad?" Tatsuya asked.

I got surprised. Suddenly, I wheeled myself out of my seat.

"Tatsuya! What are you doing here? What did you hear? Hahahaha. Nothing, right?!" I mumbled.

"Speaking of the boyfriend..." Victoria said while crossing her arms, grinning.

"What boyfriend? What are you talking about?" Tatsuya asked, confused.

"Rhoa was talking about yo—" Before she could finish her sentence, I threw my book at Victoria. Thankfully, she caught it before it hit her face.

"Victoria..." I said with an angry voice.

"Never mind," Victoria said.

I wheeled back to my chair.

"Tatsuya, it's nothing. Just girl talk," I said, still embarrassed.

"Aww," Tatsuya said. "Am I not your friend anymore?" Tatsuya asked, sad.

"Are you sad?" I asked.

"No, I'm not... It's just..." Tatsuya murmured.

"What?" I asked. "What is it, Tatsuya?" I asked with a smile.

Tatsuya got embarrassed and tilted his head down.

"I remembered something like this when I first met you, Tatsuya. There's something wrong? What is it? I want to help!" I said.

"Well... well... I don't like you keeping secrets from me," I said.

"I know you so well, Tatsuya-kun," I said, smiling.

Tatsuya got more embarrassed after I said that.

"Really. You two have to get it together. It's so obvious," Victoria said.

"What's so obvious?" Tatsuya and I asked, obliviously.

"Ugh," Victoria said, frustrated, storming out.

Tatsuya and I looked at each other, confused. We then laughed together. Then and there, I fell in love with him. But I was going to keep this feeling until we were old enough. I'll just wait for you to say 'I love you' to me. I'll wait. Until you're ready. Nothing's gonna change my love for you.

After school that day, I decided not to hang out with Victoria and Tatsuya. I went home instead. I don't know why, but I sensed something bad as soon as we approached home. The ride home was silent as usual. But there was something odd.

As soon as we arrived, my instincts were right. There was someone's car outside my house. Someone new.

"Louise, whose car is that?" I asked.

"A guest arrived, Miss Rhoa," Driver Louise said.

I then got dropped off at the front door. When I got wheeled inside, my worst nightmares awaited me.

"Welcome home," that voice said.

"Have you missed your Oppa?"

Suddenly, from top to bottom, my body shivered. I looked up. There, at the front door, awaited Mr. Ji-Oh. Ji-Oh Bloodworth. I froze in place, staring at Mr. Ji-Oh.

"What is it, Rhoa?" he said, smiling.

As if I'd let him back into my perfect life. I forgot how scary and intimidating my "Oppa" was.

I snapped out of it, got off my wheelchair, and crawled upstairs.

"AUNTIE! AUNTIE! AUNTIE!" I screamed in horror.

I remembered the nasty things that man did to my aunt, and I wanted to protect her. I crawled everywhere upstairs until I found her sitting down in the corner of her room. Bruised up, full of scratches all over her body.

"AUNTIE! AUNTIE!" I screamed when I found her. I immediately crawled back to her.

How dare that man do this to my aunt? I wasn't gonna have it. What does that man think gives him the right to do this to my aunt? I crawled to her and hugged her.

"Auntie, what happened? I'm sorry," I said. I don't know why. I felt guilty.

"Rhoa, it's okay, hon," my aunt said, with little energy left.

"No, it's not okay," I said. "I'll tell everyone what he did to you," I cried.

"Rhoa, this is my fate. Don't make a fuss about it. From the very start, I was destined to marry Ji-Oh," my aunt said, exhausted, tired, and miserable.

"NO, IT'S NOT, AUNTIE. I'LL SAVE YOU. I PROMISE. I'LL SAVE YOU," I shouted while crying.

What's going to happen to me next? Why does it have to be like this? Why is that man back? My nightmares have come true.

To be continued....
