Heterometrus spinifer

Heterometrus spinifer (Scorpiones: Scorpionidae) are not insects, but arachnids (Yes, the same class as spiders and mites). Their huge appearance and low venom toxicity make them somewhat popular pets among niche hobbyists. Also, they glow fluorescent blue under ultraviolet light.
Rainy season is nice. I love sitting on the terrace with a nice cup of tubruk coffee and some roti gambang.
