Thanks for this step by step explanation !
It helped me to forget about the result and just try to do something. I used to try (and fail) to do original paintings. Or painting with a watercolor painting model but I can't show the result, it always fall short of the model and it is not really satisfying. Why did I never thought about photo references for watercolor ?
Now I know what I'm doing next. Thanks !
