Mormolyce phyllodes (Coleoptera: Carabidae), unlike most beetles, have are rather rubbery and flexible elytra (the hard outer wings). In fact, the adult goes through a hole smaller than their body when emerging from pupa. On top of it, because of their shape, they have a rather "flexible" common names depending where and what language you speak, but generally associated with string instrument.
I'm very bad at reading music notation even though I play wind instruments. I think that the notes look like bean sprouts. Looking back, I have been cooking bean sprouts quite often while drawing this episode. No offence to all musicians out there (A-Cell, that includes you).
