The chapter began with a broken vision flashing through Sun-Z’s mind.
She was lying on a cold metal table inside the laboratory. Her eyes fluttered open for only a second before heavy dizziness swallowed her again. She saw blurry figures standing around her head—professors arguing in low voices.
Then one man stepped closer.
He stared at her face quietly… and finally spoke to the assistant.
“Increase the anesthesia.”
She felt the needle burn in her veins—and everything faded.
It was the same man.The same she had seen in the market when Star X had bumped into him.
He had been standing right there.
Sun-Z suddenly woke up at 2:00 a.m., her heart pounding. Star X was still asleep beside her.
Sun-Z (whispering):
“There’s no way… that wasn’t just a dream. It was the same person! Am I imagining things? Why doesn’t my heart feel like he’s dangerous? Oh my God… I can’t sleep anymore.”
She quietly went downstairs, poured herself a glass of water, then stepped onto the balcony to stare at the stars.
The house trembled gently beneath her feet.
She grabbed the railing.
Sun-Z:
“Wow… the house is really moving. So it’s time for it to head toward sunrise. That’s actually kind of cool…”
Then she noticed something strange at the end of the narrow alley between the houses.
Two young men were trying to break into a small store.
Sun-Z (shocked whisper):
“It’s a real robbery! I can’t believe it!”
She slipped out of Mrs. Kelly’s house and quietly followed them, hiding close enough to observe.
Sun-Z (thinking):
“What are they doing? Are they actually robbers?”
They were forcing the door open.
Sun-Z (nervous):
“I shouldn’t be here. I should go before I get into trouble…”
But then she remembered the old shop owner who gave them a candy.
“Thank you for helping us. I hope you like my candy.”
Her chest tightened.
Sun-Z:
“I can’t just leave him like this…”
She noticed a barrel filled with iron poles beside the store and focused her power on one pole—
—but instead the entire barrel began to wobble loudly.
Sun-Z:
“Come on… I just need one pole—no, no, no—why is the whole thing moving?!”
The thieves froze and slowly walked toward the noise with weapons drawn.
Sun-Z (panicking):
“Oh my God… I can’t grab anything now! How am I supposed to fight them?!”
Then she had an idea.
The thieves peeked into the alley.
Thief 1: “Probably a cat.”
Thief 2: “Yeah.”
They lowered their guard.
The barrel suddenly flew straight at them, smashing them to the ground.
Thief 1: “Who threw that?!”
Sun-Z lifted the iron poles into the air.
Both thieves screaming: “GHOSTS!!!”
They ran away in terror.
As Sun-Z smiled proudly and went to put everything back.
Sun-Z:
“I’m getting better at this…”
suddenly she noticed a shadow behind her. And Before she could turn around, something sprayed into her face.
Her knees buckled.
It was Mr. White.
Mr. White:
“It was a good decision to come out this late… I thought I might find a weak signal near where they sleep. And I was right.”
A villager watched helplessly from his upstairs window as Mr. White carried Sun-Z away.
At dawn, Star X banged desperately on Black Storm’s door.
Star X: “Wake up! Wake up! It’s an emergency!”
Shadowlight (half asleep): “Later…”
Black Storm opened the door.
Black Storm: “What’s wrong?”
Star X: “Sun-Z is missing!”
Shadowlight instantly jumped up.
They soon gathered in Mrs. Kelly’s kitchen.
Black Storm: “When was the last time you saw her?”
Star X: “Last night… she’s been gone a while.”
Kelly: “I woke up at five to see the sunrise. She never came out.”
Star X: “What if someone kidnapped her?”
Shadowlight: “That’s ridiculous! Maybe she ran away.”
Star X: “Why would she run away?! She wouldn’t just disappear!”
Black Storm: “ don’t worry star x We’ll find her. Together.”
Sun-Z awoke with a pounding headache and found herself sitting in the middle of a dark, unfamiliar room.
Her eyes darted around in panic.
“What the… where am I?”
She pushed herself off the couch and staggered toward the door. When she opened it, she saw a man in the next room calmly drinking his coffee, his back half-turned as if nothing were wrong.
“You’re awake. Good morning, Sun-Z.”
She froze.
As she stepped closer, his face came into focus—and her heart skipped.
It was him.
The same man Star X had collided with in the market.
Sun-Z: “Y-You’re that gentleman from before! What am I doing here? And how do you know my name?”
Mr. White chuckled softly, then set his cup down and rose to his feet. He offered his hand with an unsettling politeness.
Mr. White: “Allow me to introduce myself properly. I am Professor White.”
Sun-Z stared at his outstretched hand, shock spreading through her entire body.
Sun-Z: “W-What?! You’re a professor!!!”
Back in the village, Star X walked beside Black Storm as they searched every corner for Sun-Z. Black Storm stopped anyone he could find, asking again and again if they had seen her, but each answer was the same—no one had.
Star X’s steps grew heavier, her chest tightening with every rejection.
Black Storm finally noticed.
Black Storm: “You’re still worried, aren’t you?”
Star X: “Yes… I am.”
Black Storm: “Don’t worry. Sun-Z is strong. I’m sure she’s okay.”
Star X bit her lip.
Star X: “But if she went out at night, why didn’t she tell us? That doesn’t make any sense…”
Black Storm: “Maybe she didn’t want to wake us. Or maybe something unexpected happened… but I promise, we’ll find her. Let’s keep trying.”
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a wrapped candy bar, holding it out to her.
Black Storm: “Here.”
Star X: “What’s this?”
Black Storm: “I meant to give it to you earlier. At the village feast, an old man thanked us by giving us candy while you weren’t around.”
Star X’s eyes lit up. She accepted it with both hands.
Star X: “Thank you…”
She smiled, and for a brief moment Black Storm felt lighter.
Then Shadow Light came running toward them, followed by a breathless villager.
Shadow Light: “Guys! I found something!”
They all stopped as the man struggled to catch his breath.
Villager: “I saw it from my window last night. Mr. Gas’s shop was being robbed, and your friend stopped the thieves and scared them off.”
Black Storm: “How do you know she was our friend?”
Villager: “She made a barrel and iron poles float in the air. The thieves ran screaming.”
Star X gasped.
Star X: “That was Sun-Z!”
The man hesitated.
Villager: “But there was another man… I don’t know what he did, but he came from behind and knocked her unconscious.”
Black Storm clenched his fists.
Black Storm: “Was he one of Gazley’s men?”
Shadow Light: “No… it was Mr. White!”
Star X: “Mr. White?!”
Villager: “I couldn’t see clearly, but he looked like him.”
Black Storm: “Do you know where Mr. White lives?”
Villager: “Behind the hill.”
Everyone: “Behind the hill?!”
It was the same hill where their capsules had fallen.
They ran without another word.
At Mr. White’s house, Sun-Z sat across from him.
Mr. White: “You were looking for me?”
Sun-Z: “Yes. We don’t remember anything—only your name. We think it’s connected to who we are… and where we came from.”
Mr. White: “Are you all together?”
Sun-Z: “Yes. Star X, Shadow Light, Black Storm… and me.”
Mr. White: “Good. We should meet them.”
Before he could say more, the front door exploded open.
Black Storm leapt into a fighting stance. Shadow Light ignited his hands. Star X slammed an energy sphere into the floor, blasting a crater beneath their feet.
Shadow Light: “We’re here to save you, Sun-Z!”
Black Storm: “Step away from her!”
Star X: “Hyaaaah!”
But instead of a hostage, they found Sun-Z sitting calmly at the table.
Sun-Z: “Hey guys… you’re just in time.”
Mr. White stared at the ruined floor in shock.
Mr. White: “Well… that was unexpected.”
Later, they all sat together with Mr. White, who had just finished introducing himself.
Shadow Light stared at him in disbelief.
Shadow Light: “Professor… White?”
Star X rubbed the back of her neck shyly.
Star X: “I’m really sorry about the floor…”
Mr. White smiled faintly.
Mr. White: “It’s all right. Don’t worry about it.”
The room slowly filled with a tense curiosity.
Mr. White: “I’m sure you have many questions.”
Shadow Light: “Who are we? And where did we come from?”
Mr. White folded his hands.
Mr. White: “You are special children from a city far away from here.”
Shadow Light: “Far away?”
Mr. White: “That city was completely destroyed in an enemy attack. We had no choice but to send you away first to protect you. I followed after you.”
Sun-Z leaned forward.
Sun-Z: “Why was our city destroyed? Who are these enemies?”
Mr. White’s eyes darkened.
Mr. White: “we don’t know but They were targeting you. Your abilities made you too valuable. The people of your city refused to hand you over… and they lost that battle.”
Black Storm crossed his arms.
Black Storm: “Even though we seem to come from a more advanced place.”
Mr. White: “Exactly. That’s why it was safer to hide you in a simple village like this one.”
Black Storm’s gaze sharpened.
Black Storm: “Is that why our memories were erased… and we were given nicknames?”
Mr. White hesitated for a moment.
He’s sharp. I need to be careful…
Mr. White: “Your memory loss was caused by a gas leak from the ship. It’s only partial amnesia. It happened accidentally when you arrived—we didn’t even have time to give you protective masks. Your memories will return in time.”
Star X swallowed hard.
Star X: “What about our families? Do we even have families?”
Mr. White lowered his voice.
Mr. White: “I’m sorry… but you were orphaned from the beginning.”
Shadow Light slammed his fist against the chair.
Shadow Light: “I want to go back and see our city for myself!”
Mr. White: “You can’t. Not yet. You must stay hidden until you regain your memories and fully control your powers. I’ll train you myself.”
Black Storm leaned closer.
Black Storm: “Our vehicles—you hid them, didn’t you?”
Mr. White: “Yes. I destroyed their signals.”
Black Storm: “Can we see them?”
Mr. White: “I buried them too deeply to recover now.”
For a long moment, the two of them stared at each other in silence.
Shadow Light broke it with a sigh.
Shadow Light: “So… what’s the plan? We live here with you now?”
Mr. White: “Yes. This house was prepared long ago for emergencies. Sun-Z, why don’t you show them around?”
Sun-Z: “Sure!”
Upstairs, Shadow Light and Black Storm froze when they saw their room.
Shadow Light: “You’re kidding me. We’re sharing again?”
Black Storm: “Shut up. Who’d want to share with you?”
In the girls’ room, Star X rushed to the window.
Star X: “Wow… the view is amazing!”
Sun-Z opened the closet.
Sun-Z: “The colors are limited, but Mr. White said the clothes are made from special fibers. They won’t burn or tear from our powers.”
Star X: “That’s awesome! Let’s pick our outfits!”
The fashion show began almost immediately. The two girls, thrilled by the thought of future adventures, searched the closet for outfits that could survive the harshest missions. After several excited debates and dramatic poses in front of the mirror, they finally chose their gear and stepped out of the room, proud of every detail.
At the top of the stairs, they nearly collided with the boys—who had also changed into new clothes.
Sun-Z blinked in surprise.
Sun-Z: “Why are you wearing shorts?”
Shadow Light shrugged.
Shadow Light: “Because it’s hot, and I hate the heat.”
She turned her gaze to Black Storm, whose outfit was the complete opposite of Shadow Light’s.
Sun-Z: “You two couldn’t be more different.”
Black Storm: “This feels more comfortable to me.”
Star X spun in place, admiring all of them.
Star X: “We look awesome!”
Later, they stood outside the house, staring up at it in silence.
Sun-Z: “So… we’re really going to live here.”
Black Storm: “Yeah.”
Star X: “We should tell Mrs. Kelly first, so she won’t worry. And we need to thank her.”
Black Storm hesitated, then spoke in a firm, determined voice.
Black Storm: “I promise we’ll get our memories back… and we’ll find out who’s really targeting us.”
Shadow Light nodded seriously.
Shadow Light: “We have to be extra careful. We can’t trust him.”
Sun-Z: “We’ll do our best.”
Star X watched them, confused by the sudden heaviness of their words.
“Why are they all so serious? Am I the only one who thinks Mr. White is kind?”
She suddenly straightened.
Star X: “Yes!”
They all stared at her—then burst into laughter.
Sun-Z: “You’re dangerous when you’re that innocent.”
Shadow Light: “Seriously… you’re too pure.”
Black Storm: “Be careful, Star X.”
Star X waved her hands awkwardly.
Star X: “Okay, okay, I get it!”
