I agree! I used to watch animes too... but all the cliches somehow ruined it for me :/ Especially when it comes to the drawing style. Everyone has the same bodyshape (breast size may vary... XD) and the same tiny nose. And as long as everyone is wearing a school uniform the only way to tell them apart is to give them all the haircolors a rainbow has to offer. XD
Anyways. I always enjoy reading your comic!!! :) Keep it up!
