Liam’s pov
I woke up feeling really tired, and having a bit of a headache, I soon realized why I was having headache it was due to what happened yesterday night between my uncle Jamie and Daniel, I was really hurt with what uncle Jamie did and what he said (I felt a tear drop) I sat there lost in thought till I finally heard a voice saying “Wake up to reality” of course it was my alarm, it was the second time it rang today I quickly realized that I’ll be late for school if I continue thinking, on a second thought it wouldn’t hurt to skip school today but I had to go coz the school and i couldn’t miss it not just because of the punishment but because kim was going to be there yeah I mean kim the famous singer, God I love his songs I know all of them literally all, before I knew it I was already arranging my bed and ready to go talk my bath, I guess the thought of meeting with kim gave me an inspiration, so after 20 minutes I came out of the bathroom I had already placed my school uniform on my bed so I got dressed when I was through I grabbed my bag and was surprised that Daniel hasn’t come to check up on me this morning so I went to his room, he wasn’t there maybe he went out early so I went downstairs to go take water just for me to see an envelope on the counter, I had no choice than to open it coz I was so curious well I didn’t feel like I was being nosy coz I saw that the letter was for me.
To liam
I know that you would be wondering why there is a letter on the counter, most especially why is your name written on it (it was as if whoever kept this read my mind) I’m really sorry for leaving without telling you that I got a job offer and that I had to go to work (what does he mean by had to go wont he come back today, is this Daniel?). I should have let you know, and I regret not doing so. Please understand that I had to make this decision to provide for you (how dare him use me as an excuse for leaving me why didn’t he just tell me) I don’t know exactly when ill be back, but I want you to know that I’ll keep in touch. I’ll also be sending some money to help with things (does he thinks that this will make me better). I’m also really sorry for what happened last night, I never meant for you to see that no to talk of hurting you in any way, and I hope you can forgive me.
Take care, liam. I’ll be in touch soon
Daniel
FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!damn it, Daniel. What the fuck?
Liam threw the letter on the table, his hands shaking with anger. How could Daniel just leave like that? No warning, no explanation- just a letter
“Providing for me? Sending money? that’s not the point Daniel!” he muttered, pacing back and forth. “You should’ve told me. You should’ve said something!” he said in frustration. But as he stood there, staring at the letter, his anger started to fade. He picked it up again, smoothing out the crumpled paper.
“I don’t know when I’ll be back……I had to do it for you…” Liam sighed, his shoulders slumping. He was still mad, but he couldn’t ignore the fact that Daniel cared. He wasn’t just running, he was trying to help. Sitting down, he stared at the letter, his fingers tracing over the words. “You should’ve just told me, idiot” he muttered under his breath, his anger turning into something else. “shit I’m gonna be late! What if kim is already there, ill be mad at you later, Daniel ” he said as he took his bag “but I wont miss this”
Liam rushed out of the house, his bag slung over his shoulder as he practically ran to school. His anger toward Daniel still lingered, but excitement quickly took over. Kim was performing today. His idol. His inspiration. The one person he admired more than anyone.

As he reached the school gates, the buzz of students chattering about Kim’s arrival filled the air. Some were fixing their outfits, others checking their phones, hoping for a glimpse of the musician before the concert.

Liam took a deep breath. He wasn’t just going to watch; he was determined to stand out.

Inside the auditorium…

The lights dimmed, and the crowd erupted into cheers. The stage remained dark for a moment, tension hanging in the air. Then—a single spotlight illuminated the center, revealing Kim.

Dressed in all black, his silver earrings glinting under the lights, Kim held the microphone close to his lips. His eyes scanned the crowd lazily, but when they landed on Liam—there was a flicker of recognition.

Liam’s heart pounded. Was he imagining it? Did Kim actually notice him?

The music started, a slow and seductive beat vibrating through the speakers. Kim’s voice, smooth and deep, filled the room, sending chills down Liam’s spine.

The song was about unspoken desires, about hiding feelings you couldn’t express, about someone being so close yet completely out of reach.

Every word felt like it was meant for Liam.

He couldn’t tear his eyes away. Every move Kim made on stage was flawless—the way he ran his fingers through his hair, the slight smirk on his lips when the crowd screamed his name, the way his body moved in perfect rhythm to the music.

And then—Kim looked at him again.

This time, there was no mistaking it. Their eyes locked, and for a split second, it felt like they were the only two people in the room.

Liam’s breath caught in his throat.

Kim smiled.

Liam’s heart stopped.

When the song ended, the crowd roared, but Kim’s eyes lingered on Liam for just a second longer before he turned away.

Liam’s whole body tingled with excitement. He had to talk to him. He had to find a way.

As soon as the performance ended, students rushed toward the backstage entrance, hoping for a chance to meet their idol. Liam pushed through the crowd, his hands gripping the VIP pass he had won in Kim’s contest. Security let him through, and suddenly, he found himself in a quiet hallway, his heart racing.

And then, there he was.

Kim.

The musician was sitting on a couch, a towel draped around his shoulders as he scrolled through his phone. Up close, he was even more breathtaking—his sharp jawline, the way his hair slightly curled from the sweat, the confidence in the way he sat.

Liam took a deep breath and stepped forward.

"Um... Kim?"

Kim looked up, his face unreadable. He studied Liam for a moment before sighing. “So, you’re the ‘Best Fan.’”

Liam blinked. That wasn’t the reaction he expected. There was something in Kim’s voice. Was it...annoyance?

Kim exhaled and leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees. “You answered all those questions perfectly. You really are my biggest fan, huh?”

Liam nodded, suddenly feeling nervous. “Yeah. I mean, you’re amazing. I’ve followed you for years.”

Kim looked at him, his gaze unreadable. “And you want to spend time with me?”

“Yes,” Liam answered without hesitation.

Kim smirked but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. He stood up, walking closer. “You’re just a kid,” he muttered.

Liam’s eyes flashed. “I’m not a kid,” he said, stepping forward. His heart pounded, but he refused to look away. “I know everything about you, Kim. Your music—your lyrics—I understand them.”

Kim stared at him for a long moment. Then he chuckled, shaking his head. “You’re really something.”

Liam felt a mix of frustration and excitement. He was being brushed off. But he wouldn’t give up so easily.

“You don’t know me yet,” Liam said, lifting his chin. “But I’ll make sure you do.”

Kim’s smirk softened. There was something dangerous in his gaze now. Amusement? Curiosity? Or something else?

“We’ll see,” Kim murmured, his voice lower this time. “Come with me.”

Meanwhile, back at the mansion…

Daniel stood near Cole’s study, his back straight, his expression unreadable.

Cole hadn’t spoken much since he returned, only giving orders and avoiding eye contact. He was acting cold, distant—as if Daniel didn’t exist.

It pissed Daniel off.

“You know,” Daniel finally said, breaking the silence. “If you’re mad at me, you can just say it.”

Cole didn’t even flinch. He took a sip from his glass of whiskey, staring out the window. His suit jacket was undone, the first few buttons of his shirt open, exposing his collarbone. He looked dangerous. Untouchable.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Cole muttered, swirling the amber liquid in his glass.

Daniel narrowed his eyes. “You’re ignoring me.”

Cole smirked but still didn’t turn around. “Why would I waste my time being mad at you?”

Daniel’s jaw clenched. “Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because I disappeared for months and came back like nothing happened?”

For the first time, Cole met his gaze. His eyes burned. “Is that what you want, Daniel? You want me to yell at you? To fight?”

Daniel stepped closer. “I just want you to say what’s on your mind.”

Cole’s fingers tightened around his glass. “Why? So you can run away again?”

Daniel flinched. There it was.

“Is that what you think I did?” he asked, his voice quieter now.

Cole finally turned fully, setting his drink down. He walked toward Daniel, slow and deliberate. His presence was overwhelming.

Daniel didn’t back down.

Cole stopped just inches away, his breath warm against Daniel’s cheek. “Did you miss me?” His voice was low, teasing—but there was something else hidden beneath the words.

Daniel’s breath hitched, but he forced himself to smirk. “That’s what you want to ask me?”

Cole’s eyes darkened. He reached out, brushing his fingers against Daniel’s jaw. A warning. A test.

“Would you lie if I did?” Cole murmured.

Daniel’s heartbeat was out of control, but he wouldn’t let Cole get the upper hand. “What if I did?” he shot back.

A slow smirk curled at the corner of Cole’s lips. “Then I’d make sure you never lie to me again.”

Daniel swallowed hard. He could tell what was coming next. And he wanted it.

Cole reached for his tie, tugging him closer, his voice just a whisper now. “Don’t run next time.”

Then, before Daniel could respond, Cole kissed him.

It wasn’t gentle. It was rough, demanding, desperate. Daniel felt his back hit the wall, Cole’s body pressing against his. His hands were everywhere—tracing the back of his neck, his waist, his hips.

Daniel’s fingers curled into Cole’s shirt, and for a moment, he let himself sink into it. He could feel how much Cole wanted this—wanted him. And god, it felt good. It felt right.

But then—

Cole pulled away, his breath ragged.

And just like that, the wall was back up.

“This means nothing,” Cole muttered. He turned away, reaching for his drink again. “Go to your room. You have work in the morning.”

Daniel stared at him. His lips were still tingling. His body still ached for more.

But Cole? He looked like nothing had happened.

Daniel’s fists clenched.

“Yeah,” he said, voice tight. “Got it.”

He turned and left without another word.

But as he walked away, his mind was filled with one thing.

If this meant nothing… then why the hell did it feel like everything?
Oh shit!!!!!!!!!!Daniel jumped up from his bed realising that it was a dream
